Fortunate to be at Friends

While it is difficult for a parent to find that their child does not fit well with a school, it must be remembered that every school does not fit every child. Our daughter has a crazy work load, but both her teachers and administrators have proven themselves to be extraordinarily qualified and caring about their students. If you want an excellent education for your child as well as an emphasis on community service, then Friends Seminary is perfect.

Not child ""friendly""

Friends was not a good school for our daughter and may well not be for your child. While the admissions talk is of inclusivity, community and the individual, the school in actuality tries to be Horace Mann without the facilities or faculty. The high school grades on a true C curve, which they consider ""academic integrity"" but puts their students at a disadvantage when applying to college.
