The King Tut Exhibit at Discovery Times Square Exposition was amazing. I took my entire family to go see it and everybody loved it. It was extremely fun for the kids who had never seen such unbelievable artifacts, plus Discovery Times Sq Exposition had a great scavenger hunt that helped them learn even more. If you haven't seen King Tut yet, you should! Cant wait for more exhibits from Discovery Times Sq!

I loved the King Tut exhibit at the Discovery Exposition. There were so many artifacts to see, I was blown away by the details on them given that they are over 3,000 years old. This was a very personal exhibit, and it told a story as it progressed. The first few rooms were artifacts from life in ancient Egypt in general, moving on to rooms filled with artifacts from pharaohs and King Tut’s relatives, and finally to the Boy King’s artifacts. This was a brilliant way to display to artifacts, and allowed me to immerse myself in ancient Egypt.
After I finished looking at the artifacts, I caught the mummies 3d movie. This was a great way to end my visit to the exhibit, and the movie was awesome. On my way out, I hit the King Tut gift shop, which had so much fun stuff in it. There was also a Discovery Channel gift shop there as well, which had a wide variety of fun things if you felt Tut-ed out.
I would absolutely recommend this exhibit to anyone and everyone. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see these artifacts, and the Discovery Center really made it come alive.

This exhibit was well worth the price. The artifacts were amazing, and so was the Mummy! Who cares if it’s not King Tut’s real Mummy, it was still really cool. Who would ever think something that fragile and old would ever be taken out of Egypt?
I purchased the audio guide, which deeply furthered my knowledge and understanding on King Tut and ancient Egypt in general. The layout of the 10 galleries was outstanding, and the artifacts were displayed flawlessly. A short quote or excerpt introduced each room to the viewer, providing a background on what I was about to see.
All in all, the exhibit was an amazing value, and I am definitely going back to see King Tut’s chariot which is expected from Egypt any day now. This is the first time the chariot has ever left Egypt! This is the LAST time any of these items will ever be on display in the United States, so I highly recommend seeing them before they return to Egypt forever in January.
