The games are nice for kids, but be aware it does get pretty crowded. Also the tickets won’t get you much, so go in knowing that you’re really paying for the experience and not the prize. The food is subpar junk food, and the wait is horrible—I had it once and it was a long wait for cold and dreadful food. The price to play is pretty steep if you want to stay long enough to actually have fun, so I would split the price with a group.
I went last Saturday to the establishment in the Palisades Mall in NJ. I had coupons and they wouldn't accept them. I wouldn't have even been angry about that except the person at the counter got the manager who was very snotty and rude(for absolutely no reason). They were making a bigger deal about them than I was. I wasn't happy my coupon didn't work but I just wanted to move along as the line was becoming very long behind me. The manager asked me where I obtained the coupon, I told her and she replied with a very nasty attitude that they didn't work with that website.
When we went in, the place was crowded. That didn't bother me, as I had expected it to be. I was less than impressed with the items they had to redeem tickets for. That area was extremely over crowded and dirty.
I didn't eat there or have drinks this time but I did the first time I went (about 1 year ago) and the food was good.

i came to here with my daughter for a pre movie meal and found this place to be less than exceptional. the staff was very ghetto and the kitchen was very noisy but the food and drinks were good. i just wish they would train the staff to be more professional in the way they speak and carry themselves and have them keep in mind that at while on work hours the arent on "" the block ""

Absolutely fun time here. D&B on 42nd Street would always be in my memories; spent a lot of time with my girlfriend at this restaurant when she was an undergrad and I was now starting grad school. Burgers are awesome, deserts are unbelievebly delicious and for a good price. But their creme de la creme HAS to be the chicken alfredo; a lot of food for a good price and very filling. You don't need appetizers for some of these meals. And what do you do right after? Go play games of course! Stereotypical arcade games but if you have a loved one or a group of people, it makes for a great evening. The atmosphere was really nice especially the dimly lit room with stained glass; modern yet with an antique feel. Keep up the standards guys!

Dave and busters is a really great place to enjoy with your friends. I always go there and its a blast, deff a place worth visiting. UNFORTUNATELY the last time i went, this very RUDE employee, LENNY, was just plain ridiculous, on west 42nd st. He was sooo full of himself and was laughin and fooling around with his buddy on the JOB. He had an attitude and everyone was looking at him like whats his problem?? IDK how they HIRED him, but everyone else I met was great, as long as you DONT run into him, your good. Dont want your night ruined.

A sports bar, restaurant and arcade in one! If there's a wait for a table, you won't be bored for a minute since you can spend your time playing games and winning tickets. The restaurant service is shoddy, as it can sometimes take quite a while to get your food. When you order a dish eligible for the Power Combo you get a $10 game card, but know they automatically charge 18% gratuity on it. I recommend the veggie burger with cheese or the chicken tenders. You need to be 21 to enter, but if you're 25 or older you can bring in someone any age.

Went there with a few co-workers. We ordered drinks when we sat down. The dirnks came 30 minutes later.
It took us 45 minutes to get our food. The food arrived at our table in a very rare combination both burned as well as cold.
I'm a very easy guy to please but that was quite possibly the second worst burger I ever had.
Best bet, eat at Applebee's and then go to play.

On July 20, 2009, while in New York City, I tried for my 1st time D&B, I arrived, 1st customer of the day, I had the place to myself. I ordered: a Buster burger and a Cola. Well, I heard Magic happens here so I figured try it. I got my check, it ...showed my order and in red, an 18% gratuity has been added for your convieniance. Fine, that's fair. Until I got my bank statement yesterday! MAGIC, I'll say, (07/20/2009 234 WEST 42ND ST POS NEW YORK NY US 006227 95.98), $95.98 disappeared from my bank account.
That's gotta be some huge hamburger and coke! now my bank and New York authorities will get involved. It's not magic, it's ROBBERY!!!! Watch your charge statements!!!!!

We just had a birthday party on Saturday in one of the private rooms for 15 kids (6-7 year old) and 15 adults and given that we are a frequent visitors during regular days here is what we can tell you:
1. Place was extremely overcrowded
2. Extremely noisy
3. Even though we booked through special events coordinator, there was no coordination inside at all. Make sure you meet your guests at the entrance since some of our guests had to wait in a 40min line and then none could help them to find were the party was. So they left.
4. Food was fair and alcoholic drinks were overpriced (around $10)
At the end this is a great place to come during the week when its nice and empty and you can get some discounts. NOT a place to have kids birthday party.
