Overall
NOT FUN!!!!

Came here with some friends expecting good laughs, however, got a rude awakening by racist jokes. Worse, there is a 2 drink minimum and food doesn't count towards it. Even worse, you are literally sitting on your friends lap because they pack so many people into one show. If you want to feel like cattle, come here. If you want some really funny jokes and a genuinely good time, then go to the UCB.

Overall
Really fun place

It's pretty cozy, BUT you get a great view of whoever is on stage no matter where you sit! and there's a two drink minimum, but it's a comedy club. What would you expect?

We went a few days ago and saw nine great comics; seriously, there wasn't a weak link in the bunch. Most of the comics were ones we were already familiar with via Last Comic Standing or VH-1's bevy of talking heads shows. We got our tickets and made our reservation--you need both for weekend shows.

Basically, we laughed our asses off. And, really, asses are overrated anyway!

Definitely go on a night with a large line-up, go early if you want a seat close to the stage, and definitely stay the main set ends as occasionally they bring on random newbies for short "test" sets which is cool to see, its always important to support those young aspiring comics after all!!

Overall
Solid Comedy Club

I've been here a few times, and I haven't been disappointed. The drinks are good, but the food..ehhhh....not so much. Eating Lo Mein at a comedy club doesn't really suit my fancy...but hey, to each their own. Usually 3 comedians plus the host who is usually funny...good place to get a good laugh.

Overall
I WAS CRYING IN MY SEAT!!!!

I haven't laughed like that since high school!!! By far, the best comedy joint in the city. Just when you walk in you see the pictures of all the comics past and present, you realize history was made on that stage. The perfect place to bring a date. Drink alil, laugh alot. Totally a great time! Two thumbs up from Tony!.
