Dr. Lashley is a doctor who I would recommend very highly. What a good person. He takes his time with you and explains everything to you so you understand. He is very gentle and he is not rushing you out the door like some doctors do. I give him 5 stars. If you need a podiatrist this is the person you need to see Dr. Bruce Lashley.

Dr Lashley is a tremendously impressive podiatrist, who cured me almost immediately, as well as being a highly intelligent, charming and good-natured man. My wife has also used him for a sporting injury and rates him incredibly highly, indeed we couldn't recommend him more highly.

I am diabetic who has neuropathy of the feet and hands (that's a condition where one loses sensation or feels numbness in the area of the body that has been affected), so every once in a while I will get an ingrown toenail which can lead to infection. One day I discovered that I had a badly infected toenail and I called Dr. Lashley's office. This was on Columbus Day and I thought that I would have to wait until the next business day to get get an appointment. To my great relief Dr. Lashley himself called me back and told me to come in right away. This was a day when the doctor was not scheduled to come in (he usually is in surgery on Mondays), but he went out of his way for me which is not common for most doctors. I so appreciate Dr. Lashley caring for his patients the way he does. I first met doctor Lashley in 1999 at the Phillips Ambulatory Care Center. I rediscovered him three years ago and have been seeing him for diabetic foot care ever since. I have also sent family members as well. His bedside manner is awesome. He's very comforting and his staff is great. Five stars to Dr. Lashley, one of the best podiatrists in New York.

I read these reviews before having a bunionectomy this year and was a bit scared by some of the negative reviews. They didn't align with what I knew about Dr. Lashley from the visits I'd had with him in the year prior to the surgery, and since my general practitioner recommended him, I ignored the reviews. I'm glad I did.
Dr. Lashley's office is clean, his staff are courteous and friendly, and he is a complete professional. He's always taken the time to explain things to me, was very gentle in examining me and removing stitches after the surgery.
As for the operation itself, he was reassuring beforehand and made himself very available to me after the fact. I had to call him more than once in the days after my surgery (largely b/c I was worried that my swelling wasn't normal--it was) and he always prompted returned my call and never made me feel like I was being a pain.
The operation itself was very smooth and I only had to take painkillers the day of the operation--not afterward at all. I can say with confidence three months after the operation that he did a great job and I trust him wholeheartedly to do my other foot.

This foot doctor is very notorious. I went to him for a corn removal. He just grabbed my left foot and squeezed it so hard and started scraping the corn. It hurt so bad. I controlled myself for fear that he will increase the pain. What does this foot doctor learn in podiatry school in terms of good patient care? The x-ray area was not clean. I had to put my newly showered feet onto that x-ray area. Before that, I saw him standing on the x-ray area with his sneakers on. He needs to learn what is good hygiene.

I was very disgusted by this appointment. I went to him after being on heavy antibiotics for 2 days because of an infected and swelling big toe with and ingrown infected nail.
It was sore and he didn't want to numb it. I insisted he did. He hurt me to the point of screaming during the injection. Removed the ingrown toe nail and bandaged it with no cream or antiseptic anything.
Then he said I could stop the 2 antibiotics i was taking as he didn't see infection. Well probably because i had been taking 5 a day for 48 hours.
The instructions on my antibiotics clearly state no to stopping them and to finish them.
How can he not know that!

Somewhat amazed at all the high praises and glory. I compared this first foot doctor's quality of care to another foot doctor. The second doctor does a far better job than the first. He does strapping, for instance. The first doctor hardly does anything effective but superficial banter. They haven't seen the other side of him. A few are not amused to learn of his behavior when he was caught just in time ppg tom -- considered childish, immature and unprofessional. The location is okay but it would be better if there's a sliding door since heavy doors are difficult to handle. He has a giggly sec'y considering that is not funny to laugh at other people's difficult recovery. It would be highly appreciated if he is honorable to say that when there is a problem in the procedure, he is off the hook.

Excellent but not highly recommended when it comes to very difficult situations. Ordinary ones and as usual scenarios, yes. Doctor can manage the usual easy foot problems but not complex issues. He loves asking questions from patient and writing down patient's reply utilizing his laptop. Probably, a good reason to submit claim. However, he's not attentive when there are questions related to complications after surgery. You hardly get an answer at all. You wonder what happened during the closing and if something was amiss and what. God knows.

I highly recommend Dr. Lashley to anyone with any type of foot problem. I visited him several times this summer and found him to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Most importantly, he cured my foot of severe tendonitis, which had prevented me from running for years.
Dr. Lashley is a very friendly, personable guy. His staff handles appointments with the utmost professionalism. They are flexible with scheduling appointments, and can take you very early so you can make it to work on time. The office is in a convenient location and Dr. Lashley can work quickly if you indicate you'd like him to.
The guy knows his stuff, takes pride in his work, and is very helpful. If anyone can fix your problem it's Dr. Lashley.

Certainly in agreement with all of the reviewers. Every patient is entitled to proper foot care. It is the duty of the foot doctor to inform and advise the right thing to do and not withhold information. Waiting room condition needs sprucing up including seats. Secretary gets confused with surgery arrangements whether it is the right or left foot this time.

Definitely amazing wonderful foot doctor. I brought my spouse and child for basic foot care since they do not know how to care of both feet. He did an amazing and magnificent job on basic basic basic basic basic basic basic basic basic basic basic basic foot issues. It was nothing fancy, complex, complicated, and out of this world foot care. Just simple and downright basic. Loves piipps. He has a penchant to be high falutin and roundabout. He did a stupendous job because there was no need for painkillers. Just heal on your own. How splendid and facetious of him. Such excellence! And what an excellent foot doctor he can be. Furthermore, he showed his expertise when looking at the x-ray he can tell you right away that your bones and muscles are degenerating. Nothing to be scared and afright. Stay calm and alert. And he will keep you in suspense. He is just amazingly wonderful.

Dr. Lashley removed bunions on both of my feet (once in 1996 I think and ther other in 2000) and I had no problems, never even had to take a pain killer BOTH TIMES! (yes I realize that I was just fortunate). His staff are professional and nice and he has always been nothing but professional and personable. I've brought my son and husband to see him and i always HIGHLY recommend him to others.

Dr. Bruce Lashley is first class. He takes the time to talk to you and treats you like a human being. I was very impressed with the time he took to put me at ease and talk me through the situation. I highly recommend this doctor and am appreciative of his pleasant and warm manner.

Dr. Lashley's office is in a great location! I came to him with severe heel pain. I couldn't even walk! He thoroughly explained the treatment and cause for this condition. He made orthotics for me and although they were costly, they have improved my condition. I am an athlete and the orthotics provide support while I am running. I highly recommend Dr. Lashley, in fact he is treating my husband!

Extremely happy with Dr Lashley, his staff, and the surgery he performed. Not sure what the previous reviewer was writing about since Dr. Lashley's office is run in an absolutely professional manner and I was always seen on time. He has great bed side manners, explains his procedures and answers all questions very well. It was truly a pleasure getting treatment from him.
