My biggest challenge as a student was being the student! Sitting through the conventional lectures was sometimes difficult. My mind and body were always going and I couldn't wait to get out of my seat, move around, share my thoughts, and interact with my peers. I handled it by focusing all my energy into my listening and note taking. It helped keep my mind busy and my body moving, and I also left with some great notes

What a lovely and intimate book store! I've shopped there multiple times for birthday gifts for my nieces and nephews and each time the sales associates are able to guide me to the best books based upon the child's reading level and preferences. The sales people are very friendly and knowledgeable- they have read many of the children's/young adult books and provide great insight into what kids are into these days and what is a good read. As for my purchases, I've had many enjoyable conversations with my nieces/nephews, always telling me how much fun and interesting the books are.

I went in there the other day with my kids and the store has not gotten any new stock in at least a year...of course there is the new book here and there, but the shelves do not change much.
I use to love the store before they moved from next door a few years ago....the owner has too big of an ego and not enough vision.
I find that Barnes and Noble has better, more and current stock, plus you can order books there as well.
