Horrible! worst ever experience - DON'T GO !!!

I get weekly pedi's - usually near my home downtown. I had time on my hands and decided to give blooming nails a try b/c its close to work. The staff was rude. they asked for extra for a massage, once i said no.. they did not even give me a little massage.. slapped on the nail polish and threw me in the chair to let them dry. I hate the staff..crappy pedicure... crappy everything over prices like there is no tomorrow... i go to a place that charges 25 and i get a nice massage that lasts at least 5 minutes - NO CHARGE - and a massage again while my nails are drying. this place should be shut down for horrible service and over charging - I HATE THIS PLACE

I went here against my better judgement as it's close to where I live and had an event this evening. I chose to only get a polish change as everytime I go there they cut either my finger or toe by cutting my cuticals wrong.

The girl who did the repolish left cotton on my nails and now they are bubbly and aweful looking.

Then there was one nail that had a piece sticking up so I grabbed the file aggrivated that she wouldnt have seen that herself and was about to use it when she said, ""thats extra"" needless to say I flipped. ""youre charging ME to use this nail file on myself?"" She replied, ""it's my nail file"". You can imagine my reply.

Anyway, I didn't get charged for the nail file usage, but only after arguing with the manager. Then had to sit there while she spoke in Korean about me to her friend next to me.

I totally understand why they ask you to pay up front, they know they do a horrible job and need that tip ahead of time.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Try Dolce Nails around the corner, still not great but definitely better.

Super Rude Service...Avoid this Place!

I get my nails done once a week in NYC and generally go to a place in my neighborhood...but was at a work meeting that finished early so I went to this place. They didn't do a good job AND there was no signage about a credit card minimum. They made me purchase another manicure (for another time, but I am NEVER going to go back!) because I was $5 short of the minimum. The woman was super rude and made me feel really uncomfortable. Don't spend your money here!

Do not go to Blooming Nails on Lex.

After checking the user reviews for alot of nail salons yesterday, I had to go to one that I did NOT check out. First, they put me at a nail station right next to their 'front desk' so all the workers kept crowding next to me. Then she asks me to pay, I said ok, she says $18. I said 'you told me the french manicure was $17"" she says ""its $1 for tax"" which sounds fishy. So i hand her my credit card so she can finish and then she tells me they have a $20 minimum (which i did not see posted anywhere). So I ask her if she has anything between $2-$5 and she suggests the 'quick dry liquid'. So my bill comes out to $20 even. She finishes and i'm happy with my manicure. BUT.... As soon as I left i quickly noticed one of my painted french tips is severly uneven. I will never go back there again.

Worst Nail Place ever visited!!

Dont go to this nail place!!! They try to scam you out of paying more for a ""spa"" pedicure evern if you DONT ask for it! I specifically said I do NOT want a spa Pedicure that costs $60 and they gave it to me anyways and were about to call the police on me if i didnt pay the full amount. Its not my fault the women working there cant speak English but they were the rudest people I have ever met. Needless to say, I did not tip them a cent but had to pay the bill for a service I never requested. THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!!

Do not go to blooming Nail

March 07, 2007

This morning I woke up around 7::30am...

My intuition told me I better check my nail again to see do I need go to another nail salon to do the polish or not?

Yet, I just did my manicure last night in the Blooming Nail at Lexington Ave!

It was not a pleasant to have my nail done there!!

Anyhow, when I look up my nails, I always fainted and scream!!!

No one can believe I just did my manicure yesterday 6:30pm?!

My nail is getting worst than yesterday after I left the Blooming Nail!

The Lady who did my nails and the manager I was asked to fix my nail after I ruined it?are not friendly at all!

Don?t they know? It is the customer service chain store? Smile on the face to the customers it should be important right? And the care the customer relations is not part of their job?

Neglect, ignore, avoid and truly unfriendly are what I feel in the blooming nail..!

I am so regret; I should not waste my time to give the blooming nail try...

This tried again still the same the few years ago I was in the blooming Nail in the 7th Ave!

So Please do not go there for a try....I am so mad about my self right now! Just across street there is another one new open or I can go others around many nail salon near by, why I will make my trip to blooming nail yesterday....damn it!

nice, clean and fast

This place is very clean and the staff is very helpful. The best part of it is that they are very fast and they do take care of you very nicely. Although some of the girls working there have poor english you can still communicate. I go there for brazilian wax with Tina and she is the best, I had very bad experiences in the past but I keep visiting her for my wax although I actually live in Boston. All the manicurists have almost the same skills and dont speak much which is good. The place has a great location right by Grand Central. If you have appoinments they always take you on time as well. It might be a little pricey, if you want special spa mani-pedi etc but the overall job is worth it
