Title says it all. The escargot was in bits and pieces, and when the waiter came over and asked how everything was, my parents said very gently that the escargot was in bits and pieces, and the waiter said, ""well, you can't have everything."" And he wasn't kidding. Then again, he also wasn't wrong. For instance, they can't have our business.

I arrived for dinner before 6:00 PM. Though the restaurant was practically empty except for staff languishing about, no one greeted me and I had to ask someone before I could be seated in a perfunctory manner. I ordered steak rare, it was served well-done and not warm enough. The French fries were cold & stuck together. The string beans -- also cold. Clearly the food had been sitting around in the kitchen for some time. No one came to check on my progress. A request for vinegar went ignored. I hadn?t visited this restaurant in years because I had the same experience with the same menu before, including the unwelcoming staff. I?d never go again. Ever.

As know as the owner who always stand by the door as he has nothing to do. his selections of waiters, unsociable unhappy people... And then dare to serve SANDY MUSSLE w/ bland wine sauce as if they were diluted w/ water and overly fermented white wine. their version of macaroni and cheese tasted cheep white cheddar tasted a fridge w/ couple sad green peas for $18 or so.. PLUS simple FRIES WERE EVEN STALE!!!
Wow ""NEVER AGAIN!""

A friend and I stopped in and had drinks. Everyone was friendly, warm, and inviting--and
the drinks wern't bad either. I returned with a party of four, and we wern't disappointed. The service was attentative, the room lovely, and the food was delicious.
The deserts did not disappoint. This is a warm, relaxing, and solid dining experience.

If you want a true neighborhood restaurant, with regular ""friends of Manny"", a truly talented young native Italian Chef, and great location, Bruculino's is your place. This is a place for true New Yorker's, run by New Yorker's (Manny is part of the ""family""), named after a part of New York (the name is Italian for Brooklyn).
Great exposed brick ambiance, an intimate bar, and outdoor seating, I was captivated from the first moment I saw the place. But what sealed the deal was the people. The wait staff, the runners, the chef, the patrons....this is a dining experience.
I've adopted Bruculino's as my home away from home. Check it out for yourself....

This is a cute family-owned restaurant with delicious food and outside seating. We made friends with Manny, one of the owners. He made fantastic recommendations on food and drinks and he served the wine himself. Bruculino also has outside seating -- a summer plus!

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. After some time away I returned to find a completely different place. The food is still good, but the management and staff have almost completely changed. It's definitely not as personal and friendly as it used to be. Bring back the old managment and waitstaff!!

One of the better Italian restaurants on Columbus Avenue. Quite an extensive menu with many choices of pastas, meats, & fish. I love the good old spaghetti & meatballs or chicken parmigian. They also have excellent and creative specials each night as well. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is warm... nice exposed brick walls. I'd definitely recommend!

I went here this weekend with a couple friends and found the food to be very average. my pasta was a bit soggy and the sauce was fairly generic. Meat dishes looked better. Stick to specials. The service was fairly good. Not as crowded as it's neighbor, Pomodoro Rosso.
