I've been a happy customer for the past 18 years. I travel from 68th and 2nd avenue to bring my repairs. Fernando is a true master of his domain specially with high-end repairs. A couple of years back he replaced the zipper on my Armani coat and is still working fine.
My partner and I have giving him an array of projects and each time he has excelled and has provided quality work. During my short stint in Paris, I actually shipped shoes to get repaired and he shipped them right back. I only wish he would move closer to me instead of further uptown, but I must tell you that it is worth the trip.. Fernando good luck on your new store.. may you have another successful years on 99th street and Broadway.

AVOID Andrade shoe repair at all costs. He is a rip-off artist. Put heel on my boots and within an hour they came off. When i returned to get a replacement on the ""work"" the owner said he does not say his repairs will last even an hour. He said I would have to pay again if i wanted it fixed. I said if there was a chance the repair may not work you should have told me. He said you should know better and walked in the back office as I was speaking to him. Charges way too much for even cleaning so don't bother.

Fernando the owner is an AMAZING craftsman. He was brought back to life my vintage Gucci?s PRADA's and MANOLO's. The work is exceptional and always ready on time. STRONGLY recommend. This shoe repair is not for the cheap customer but is definitely appropriate for people with expensive taste in shoes or bags that want to keep their good in excellent and pristine conditions. Highly recommended.
