Amazing experience. First time in NYC and me and my sister from West Palm Beach had brunch here on NYE. It was the BEST brunch I’ve ever had being that I frequently go to lunch in the ATL area. I was amazed at the great service from the bartender. I wish I remembered his name. If you get a chance to read this know that you’re amazing and we greatly appreciate you for making our New Years Eve brunch experience the best!

I was so in the mood for mexican food on Saturday and heard good things about Agave. It did not disappoint. The margaritas were huge and the grilled corn reminded me of the corn at Pacifico in Brooklyn (which I totally recommend), so good! I had the chile bronzed salmon salad and my friend had the ahi tuna. Both fishes were cooked perfectly. The avocado in mine was so creamy. Great meal, super cool atmosphere. You almost feel like you are on vacation. Perfect restaurant when you're in the city for a weekend in the summer. Will definitely return.

Went here for some drinks and nibbles.... we saw a roach skitter across the floor and got visibly flustered. When the waiter asked what was wrong, we told him, and he acted like we were making it up to get a free meal (which it should have been, because it sucked anyway!). One word: AVOID.

I used to be a waitress, so I empathize with waitstaff who try hard and maybe are just busy/are overwhelmed...but this place is a hot mess with customer service, even when it's super slow. Food is decent....but that's if you ever get it.
I've been here 3 times, and I really WANT to like it b/c it's in the neighborhood and I love Mexican food, but the service is always ridiculously slow or just plain bad/lazy (it usually takes at least 10-20 minutes to get an initial hello from a waiter). I walked out once, after asking (totally disinterested and unmotivated staff members) to get my order taken 2x, and they never arrived. I will not go here again.

We were a party of 8, and my husband and all my friends agree we had the best time ever here! We got there before the dinner rush and relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. Everyone ordered something different and all the food was awesome. We highly recommend Agave!

I stumbled upon this gem during the World Cup. The staff and patrons were interacting and cheering for their respective teams, but honestly, I'm not that into soccer.
I'm into margaritas, and Agave is where it's at.
Their happy hour runs from 4-7 I believe and that includes $5 frozen or shaken margaritas in all different flavors. This isn't the syrup-flavored stuff, it's the real deal. I tried both mango and prickly-pear (surprisingly pink!), and they were both amazing. We also tried the steak quesadilla which was a perfect happy hour snack for two.
I would highly recommend Agave for their happy hour and will definitely be back for dinner some time.

""Am I Dreaming""...you are correct except for one detail...his name is Ben and he is the reason myself and my partner Renaldo frequent Agave. Yes, the food is the best in the West Vill and the drinks the best in the city, but Ben oh Ben. 127 pounds of hairless gaytoy! From knuckles to nipples he is at the top of my ""convert"" list. (I dont think hes too far ;-)
And yes...if David Spade were 20 years younger and Dakota Fanning has a breakfast sausage btwn her legs you would have sweet sweet Ben.
Be still my shiny-footed angel...Im taking a picture in my mind.

Although this popular, crowded spot is tasty, it is certainly not the best Mexican food around. They have good guacamole, but only give you a few chips to eat it with. The blue corn enchiladas are excellent and the grilled corn appetizer is delicious. Stay away from the Santa Fe shepherd's pie though...it's like eating hamburger helper.
