Pawnshops: 10 Things to Know »
Most people think of pawn stores as a way to make cash quickly or a place to buy an inexpensive ring. In reality, they're a lot more complex than simple buy-and-sell transactions…
They don't even deserve one star. They are a disgusting company that I refuse to support. The awful things they have said about people's weight and body image really makes me sick. They are overpriced, and the staff is never pleasant. Actually shopping there in general isn't a good experience. Between the smell, the loud music and how dark it is...it's almost impossible to shop for anything. Not a fan.
Probably one of the most over priced stores I've seen. The clothing isn't even worth what they ask you to pay for it. My brother recommended the store to me and when I got there, the only thing running through my mind was "are you kidding me!" I was outraged at the lack of fashion and the prices. Also, it didn't help that not one of the people working there offered to help me find anything. I'll never step foot in another Bloomingdales!
Not a fan. I have tried this store like 3 different times just browsing and trying to find clothes but I always came up short. Prices are not that great and the customer service is AWFUL. The one time i did find something I wanted to purchase I was waiting in line and there were like 3 people ahead of me - the cashier waited until i was the next person to check out to tell me she was closing the register and I have to go to the other one and the line was longer than what I had just waited in. Needless to say i put the crap down and just walked right out.
This is worse store in NYC. I both a bad frame. I asked a few times that i want it on wells. After i broth it home and unpacked i saw that it is not on wells. I called in the store, but there is no working phone. I called a few days , then i went to the store and explained that the frame is without wills. The seller she said that she is an owner promised to me that they will deliver a frame with wells and the frame that i both will take back. She never did it and the phone is still not working. I do not suggest nobody to shop in this store.
Terrible service! I wish I read this before. Bought a mattress and asked for delivery today. Got the phone call saying they will deliver today and guess what? It's a no show!! Try to call the whole day... exactly the whole day and nobody pick up the phone! Now I will have to sleep on the floor because my mattress didn't arrive and they even care to give the customer a call! I am so regret for spending my money on this store.
The little brown bag. Had to make a stop in the iconic store. Very friendly staff and easy to navigate in the store.
When one goes to buy they want to sell really quick, but the delivery takes for ever and no one is ever available to pick up the phone. I will never buy from them again. The service is horrible no different than the one on Willis Ave. in the Bronx. The lack of care is incredible and they are disrespectful when confronted about their service. Let's not forget the guys that deliver leave the boxes for the client to dispose of or they will leave it in the hallways.
SHAME ON YOU!I thought that when they opened this store in my area it would have lived up to the standards of all the Manhattan chains but I was hit with a reality check today.I check the expiration date on EVERYTHING. So, when I saw that ALL of the deodorants had an expiration date of Janary 2015, I brought it to the attention of the closest sales person. That person was talking to another worker and said okay and rolled her eyes at me. When I went into aisle to continue browsing. I was just gonna sip my ☕tea and keep it moving when a worker ran out from another aisle laughing to someone else. The giggling worker said, "yo a customer just said that all the deodorants are expired." The person she was taking to said, "uh huh! I told them but when I tell them, they tell me to pack it out anyway." I shook my head and said wow. The lady heard me and said, "oh you saying wow cuz you heard what I said?" I said yep because I'm the customer your friend is talking about. When I went to the register to check out, I heard a few other workers buzzing about the expired product. So what did Rayna do? ... I asked to speak to a manager because it's clear that everyone is aware of the expired products in this store except the trustworthy consumer. Would you believe that when I told the cashier why I wanted to speak to the manager she looked at me like I was crazy before saying "Well, I don't be looking at the expiration date when I buy deodorant sooo I don't know miss." I said well honey when you have sensitive skin like I do, you pay attention to dates because when and if you have an allergic reaction, you want to be able to identify the cause or better yet when your deodorant doesn't work, you will know why. Is the manager coming? ... She paged him again. He called but never came out so I told her I would bring the product so that he can know which one it is when he comes out because I have to get back to work. I brought as much and my hands could hold - all expired - and left them at the register.Moral of the story: Be a conscious consumer. Don't expect the retailer to be on top of their game when products expire. YOU look out for you and if you see something, say something (nicely). Oh, and I won't be going back there!
Very unprofessional indeed. Their phones are either always busy or they do not answer. They cancelled my day of delivery without any solid reason. BEWARE!!!
