Amazing experience. First time in NYC and me and my sister from West Palm Beach had brunch here on NYE. It was the BEST brunch I’ve ever had being that I frequently go to lunch in the ATL area. I was amazed at the great service from the bartender. I wish I remembered his name. If you get a chance to read this know that you’re amazing and we greatly appreciate you for making our New Years Eve brunch experience the best!

I always find the service to be extremely poor. All the employees behave as if they are completely dazed, have just woken up, and are heavily medicated with medicines that cause extreme drowsiness and a semi-conscious altered state of reality. Every time I go to the restaurant, I spend ten minutes trying to get the attention of the employees, trying to snap them out of their trance. Once they finally become aware of my presence, they make slurred, uncomprehendable vocal sounds, as if trying to communicate. After much effort, they finally understand that I want to order something, and after much more effort, they finally begin to prepare my food. Unfortunately, the speed of their movement makes them appear as comical cartoon figures. Just imagine playing a movie on very slow motion so as to not miss certain details. You would think I am being sarcastic, but I am not: one cannot make up such fantastic stories. What is radically ironic is that the food tastes GREAT!! I've tried several other Hispanic food restaurants in Hamilton Heights, and theirs is the best!! It is quite a sad situation: the owner of the business can triple his profits if he completely replaces the staff with competent employees. Coming from a business background, I can clearly see this: the amount of customers that are most likely avoiding this business due to extremely slow and poor service has to be staggering.
Go here for sure! It's in a prime location right in mid-town near Times Square and Penn Station. If you're into Peruvian food you're in good hands! Love love the ambiance here, it makes you feel like you're not in the city anymore, but somewhere distinct and beautiful. A place unlike anywhere I've eaten at before. The service was fast and the servings were plentiful for very decent prices! I'll definitely be back here!
BEST OF THE BEST!!! Our favorite Pio Pio!!!!
Visited this restaurant pre-theater. Ordered from the pre-fixed dinner menu. $24 or $29 with one glass of wine. The food was superb with choice of chicken, beef and fish. Salad or Soup and desert. The service was excellent. Will be patronizing again in the future.
