They made a perfect wig that was customized for my head. I’m a petite person with a very small head and my head swims in even the smallest wig caps. Last July I was at a barbecue and a friend of a relative was wearing a wig made from here. I couldn’t believe how well it looked. If my relative didn’t tell me she was wearing a wig I would have never known. So of course I asked her, if she didn’t mind, can she give me the information and the cost. And she shared her great experience and explained the procedure and price of her wig. I was somewhat surprised because it was a bit expensive. I was use to paying $500 or less for my wigs. I never thought wigs can cost the same as a used car but learned if you wanted quality you get what you pay for. The staff was absolutely cheerful and beautiful. I was late and they were able to fit me in the same day. I just went to get something to eat until it was time to see the wig maker. After my meal I returned a little early to make sure I was on time because this building security checks your ID and prints a temporary pass before entering and I waited on line for about 5 minutes. This place is clean and nice. My consultation was held in a comfortable small private room. I was comfortable showing my hair. My wig maker name is Egypt Lawson. She waved this wand type of computerized gadget that took pictures of my head and skin color and asked a bunch of questions about my scalp and dislikes about wigs I have warn. Egypt showed me wigs that cost over $10,000 which I can see why but that was a definitely over my budget. I learnt so much this day. I selected 4 ponytails for my wig. The hair colors were slightly different but in the same family of colors. These ponytails were cut off of peoples heads. This wasn’t the cheap stuff you see in your local store or get online. The hair was soft. I have never seen this type of hair on a wig before. Egypt explained that the ponytails are cut from local folks. People sell their hair and it’s not cheap to buy. Some of these ponytails can cost $500 each or more. Just for one ponytail! Well after all information was collected she was to start making my wig in a few weeks. I paid in full for my wig because this is what worked best for me. I sent a bunch of older photos from when my natural hair was full before the hair loss started.I went back to be fitted. The hairstylist Patty was very patient with styling my hair. I didn’t want to take the chance of another stylist cutting it wrong so Egypt had Patty come in to cut my hair. My wig came out spectacular!!! This quality I have never seen before. My wig fits my head perfectly. I am so satisfied with this experience I can cry from joy.

This hidden Gem has all the talent of Madison ave without the attitude !!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming OMG what a concept. It is always clean, bright and cheerful in there. ANNA is an insanely talented colorist and the ONLY person I trust to touch my hair. I have very dark brown hair which other "stylists" have attempted to lighten in the past and they ended up damaging my hair and turning it orange. Needless to say, I was so hesitant to try going lighter after my bad experiences. I am SO GLAD I found ANNA. She turned my hair from blah brown to bronde beauty in ONE sitting. She is seriously so amazingly talented and knowledgeable with color. She caters her work to each individual client and knows how to lighten with little to no damage to the hair. So glad I found her!!! 4 sessions in and never turning back.I am going to try the waxing studio they just re-opened, the young lady giving the treatments is apparently AMAZING!
My stylist - Mary, was AMAZING, not only was she fantasticly friendly, she listened to my concerns and did a BRILL job on my hair! I have relaxed hair and I am soooo particular about people drying and/or flat ironing my hair, as im often nervous i'll leave looking like a mushroom - on the contrary - Mary was the bee's knees! and I cant wait to go back! I LOVE THIS PLACE! I mean, everyone there is really nice! Me and my friend walked in with a certain look in mind, and boy did they come through. My stylist had awesome hair (which always makes me more comfotable) and gave me the best head massage while shampooing. Once the blow dry began all the stylists attenedees were joined in one converstaion....a good sign of great commnication and fun during what can be a tetious process. I opted for the Hollywood but told my stylist not to make me look cheesy. She did an amazing job that lasted 3 more days (perfectly).
Gabriel is amazing! His prices are better than anyone else and for such a great experience. He opened his own salon in two great locations New York City on 57th Street & Greenwich, CT. The place is amazing and the best part is it has it's own ventilation where he does the Brazilian Keratin treatment. He is thorough and quick and my Brazilian lasts much longer when I get it from him than when I ever got it from anyone else. I just let my hair air dry. No frizz, no fuss. The treatment is especially awesome before going on vacation! I have naturally curly hair, So far.. I haven't even touched my hair iron! I washed my hair about four times, i've been using the recommended products and i have to say it is perfect! He really knows hair, how to treated and make it better. His salon is perfect and you'll feel really comfortable. I am so happy I found this salon my hair is shiny, silky soft and completely frizz free.
I'm there at Macy's herald square aleast once a week. My Offices are only 2 blocks away.I've never ventured off to the basement area before. Anyway, to my surprise I came across oneblowdrybar. It looked amazing , Like it should be at Bloomingdales instead. The customer service was terrific & they had fit me right in without an appointment . Francesca had done a awesome blowout on me. I'm excited that my favorite store has this upscale blow dry bar. If I hadn't ventured off to the basement, I wouldn't have known about the oneblowdrybar. Macy's should have signs around the store , it's a hot commodity these days! I looked everywhere and no signs. I had even went on macys webisite and no mention of it . I did see a 15'sec , vague video by the elevators on the first floor. It was so vague , I thought it was an advertisement for makeup. When I finally left the store, I had put the two & Two together.
I absolutely love the Great Lengths Hair Extensions I am new to New York City, and had been researching hair extension salons and different methods, going for my free consultation I knew this was the one that I wanted to do my Great Lengths extensions. This salon was completely honest with me with every detail about the process and recommended the length and hair that they thought would be perfect and safe for my hair. I have gotten SOOOO many compliments on my hair..Nobody can even tell I have extensions unless I choose to tell them. Everyone that I do tell, asks where I get them done at because they look amazing and even say, "wow whoever did you hair, did a great job" They 100 percent honest and will give you the best advice on your hair! You will leave the salon feeling confident, satisfied, and very happy with your new hair!! Great service, good prices and very friendly atmosphere!…
About 2 months ago I returned to the beautiful Fabio Doti salon and received the Brazilian keratin treatment. Fabio did an amazing job as always!!! I am thrilled with the results. No more blow drying or flat ironing my hair, I can just wash & go!!! Fabio and his staff are warm, welcoming, and friendly. The entire staff makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door, you are pampered so much so that you will not want to leave! Going to the Fabio Doti salon does not just feel like an appointment with a hair stylist, but it also feels like a visit with old friends! TODAY I went back to the salon and got blonde highlights done and I am in LOVE with them!!! The colorist at the salon is beyond amazing. My highlights are natural looking and brighten up my entire complexion. Thanks again Fabio & staff =)
I was randomly in the area and was able to get an appointment about 10 minutes after I called. But it was a Monday so I can imagine they weren't that busy. My stylist was nice, i kinda felt bad for her since I have sooo much hair, it took her forever to blow dry it. She didn't talk to me at all the entire time, but honestly sometimes I don't mind that because I just want to relax. I chose a pretty simple style and it came out cute. I just wish I could of had it done for an event then I would have gotten a more complicated style. Since I showed up a little early to my appointment, I did end up having to pay for parking (boo!) but at least it's right there & I don't have to risk getting lost! I liked it overall, I probably will be back when I have an event and I have the excuse to come back for a more glamorous style!
I came into New York for a wedding and had to get a hair cut. It was unmanageable. I hadn't realized I have been so busy lately that I neglected a few things. Luckily, one of the other bridesmaids told me about Kazuki at &Hair Lounge. I kept complimenting her on her hair, how shiny and bouncy it was so she directed me to her stylist. At the last moment, I had the urge to add some blonde in my burnette hair. I don't know what I was thinking. I never make unexpected decisions! New place, around new people. Maybe that is why I had enough nerve to try something new. Kazuki was a perfectionist. I have since come back home and hate to inform everyone, but I can't find anyone to replicate what Kazuki did. I am headed to New York in two weeks. Need I say more?
Loved it! Went here on Friday for a blow out for the first time. Total ease in scheduling my appointment (I scheduled online on their website). I got there and the place is absolutely adorable! I love the set up. It was very hip and contemporary. The lady who did my hair (wish I could remember her name) was awesome. She was courteous, friendly, and did my hair perfectly! I love the setup and how they have different styles that you can get for all the same price. I think that that's an awesome idea. I will definitely be back again for another blowout! Wash, dry, and style all for $50. You really can't go wrong. The atmosphere is friendly. They have music playing and TVs inside as well. There are magazines, they offer you a beverage, and it is all around a great vibe
