Its good but I was wondering I have a 1776-1976 quarter dollar I was wondering how much is it worth?
This is ME. I have a store on East 32nd Street, on the street side of the corner building 149 Madison Ave (the "Steel Building"). I am next to Olde Good Things, a great vintage shop. I closed the 1050 2nd Ave location 10 years ago. Kept the same phone number, and many of the same customers (thank god).
Just bought a watch! Omega, i love it! Great place, decent prices.
Jules karp has passed away and the coin business has lost another legend of the industry. truly he "was one of a kind". a bit eccentric, but so was Einstein. yes paul i agree HE DESEVED BETTER....
Best dealer in the city, maybe in the country. A man's man, yet beloved by women and children God himself should have the man's people skills. Unfortunately, if you don't call in advance, you may not catch him when he's open. Which would be unfortunate, because he has EVERYTHING and his shop is the most interesting one in the city. --Manhattan shopper (for 50 years)
Jules has died. During Hurricane Sandy the place was flooded to the ceiling. They will never reopen. Nonetheless, I will say that, conceding the imperfection of my colleague, the comments are more harsh than Jules deserved. --Paul J. Bosco
I'm new and clueless to this city so I went on yellow pages to look for jewelry spots to sell some of my gold and global gold and silver seems a good choice to stop by.I got to their suite in a nice building which didn't look sketchy to me and when I went inside,I was greeted by a bunch of friendly workers and professonal atmosphere.A guy name Amit was able to help me out, he checked all my gold and some silverware, weight it out in front of me, and gave me a great offer which I accepted. I would definitely comeback here because they made me felt safe and at home.
I brought in some jewelry from my girlfriend stash that's been collecting dust throughout the years for some quick cash. Gentlemen of the spot name Shai was able to assist me through the whole transaction, he made me feel really comfortable & explain how the jewelry payouts is based on today's market which other spots would hate to tell you about. Long story short, Shai gave me a great offer & I accepted because I didn't want to deal with the other scumbags on 47st. This spot is defiantly my spot to go back if I come upon some more jewelry.
