I’ve been hearing constant extremely loud drilling and hammering from the apartments surrounding mine, for over a year. Its so constant, and has been going on for so long, that the only logical explanation is that someone is operating a business of some kind out of their apartment. Its coming from the "front side" (facing east, away from the river) of the sixth floor of 375, but given how long it's been going on, i wouldn't be shocked if it’s happening all over the place, in all the buildings. This has been going on for over a year. I am not joking. I am not exaggerating, though I wish i was. It goes on for hours. Every. Single. Day.A couple times it continued until very late at night. Ive even woken up to it.For over a year. I've spoken to the doormen. They've just been yes men. It's still going on.Probably just going to move out soon at this point.
The cleaners ripped my shirt. Tried to return it without saying they ripped it and would not give any reasonable deal. Then they stole my shirt.
Management scammers - try to charge for late fee, i paid in time for 3 years, and this season late fee is regular.
Literally the worst manager ever. Stay away from this garage he is an absolute criminal and jerk. Terrible customer service!!!
DO NOT PARK HERE!! THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST. THEY TRIED NOT TO HONOR MY COUPON. HAD TO AGUE W/ FOR 15 MINS. THEN THEY PARKED ANOTHER CAR ON TOP OF MY CAR CAUSING DAMAGE TO MY BUMPER. I HAVE PICS OF THE CAR ON TOP OF MY CAR TO PROVE IT AND THEY ARE TRYING TO AVOID PAYING FOR THE DAMAGE THEY CLEARLY CREATED. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE. DONT PARK HERE!! SPEND MORE $ AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IS YOU HAVE TO.
Had a very unsettling encounter with the attendant at the icon facility at 164 46thstreet. He was rude and inappropriate and somewhat scary. I would not recommend tag facility
THIEVES! I HAVE BEEN PARKING HERE FOR ABOUT A MONTH FOR WORK AND THEY STOLE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AND USED IT AT STORES IN JERSEY CITY, NJ. I recently opened this credit card and only used it here. I just received my bill and saw fraudulent charges on it. The other day when I parked here there was a man on line in front of me telling them that at the same time he was paying to park here his credit card was declined because someone was trying to use it at a store in Jersey City, NJ. DO NOT PARK HERE IN LESS YOU WANT TO BE STOLEN FROM!!!!!!!!!!
Not suitable for the NYC winterAlmost all Gateway apartments have a nice harbor view, but it comes with the price: the building is old and window insulation is literally non existent. The built-in a/c units are not insulated as well, work poorly and maintenance people will do nothing about it.They will whisper you "get an indoor heater, it will be cheaper".After I got 2 heaters to warm my one bedroom, my electricity bill is about $400 a MONTH.
Wors apartments ever - only worth there living if you fall under rent stabilization. All the residents who lived there before 2009 got their leases secured through 2020. Pretty sweet. If you are newcomer, prepare to pay market price. One bedroom will set you $3500, you better look around and cut nice deal in better newer buildings around. I lived there for several years and moved to Boston. I talked off a few of my friends from getting apartments there - they thank me now as most people scream at their leases increase. You can get much better deal for your money.
These apartments became as expensive as newer building around and not worth the price. A bunch of people who live there still hold their rent controlled privileges so they will never complain. Prepare to shell out additional $400-$500 doll a MONTH during October-March. The heaters are electric and old. The walls and windows are not insulated, you will be seeing chunks of ice coming off the windows during the winter. If you dare to complain you will hear: "We are sorry, all our apartment have this problem".
