Been going for 2 years. Nice atmosphere, great service, very skilled barbers. Never go anywhere else unless down town is closed.
The ONLY place to go!!!!Cleanest place around. This place should be a Barber Museum...Their shelves are filled with nostalgia... some stuff dated mid 1800'sHaircuts only $12. and THEY ARE THE BEST AROUND!My beard trim was only $4.00!!!
This business has moved they are on 5647 Pine St. right before Grandma Sally's on the left going south on Grand Blvd. Continuing to give great service. They moved a year ago and are missing their long time customers
I've lived in many large metropolitan areas (Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Atlanta, etc.), so I know what you should expect to pay for a quality haircut. Luckily, a few years back, I found Brian at Scissor's Edge. This place brings the high-quality, big city haircut at a fraction of the Uptown price. I go and see Brian every 2 weeks and I'm still paying LESS than if I were to visit some fancy place in Miami who charges an arm and a leg because they give you a glass of cucumber water. Keep your water...I'll be at Scissor's Edge in Trinity, Florida.I've actually moved farther away since I started getting my haircut by Brian...but instead of finding somewhere new, I make the extra 15 minute drive. Why? Because I'm in sales...and when it comes to my appearance, and my clients' first impression of me, a quality haircut is of paramount importance. And, to me, it doesn't get any better than Brian at Scissor's Edge.
I pass 20 barbershops on the way to this one. If you want the best cut you can get, there's no other choice.
the dining area was dirty. it had to soda machines out of order, no napkins in the dispensers, when I walked in there was about 20 people in the kitchen area they were all looking at me but nobody came to offer services I took them more than 2 minutes to offer any services, and the chicken was not breaded or fully seasoned. It was add if they threw the chicken in the breading and did not take the time to fully coat it, then fried it leaving areas completely dry and flavorless. The rice and beans were good and the ice tea too. The restaurant dining area was dirty. Please fix it and make it how it should be, because I really enjoy Popeye's food and was excited to eat at Popeye's again
I've been looking for an old school barber in New Port Richey for awhile. Tried a few places around town and they just didn't have the feel I was looking for. Driving down Main Street the other day i saw J & M Barbers right across the street from the old gas station. I noticed the handlebar mustache logo and that alone made me want to give them a try. I went in the day before thanksgiving. The only barber working was Moe and I waited a bit, but that was no problem and I'd gladly wait even longer in the future because I got the best hair cut I've ever had there. Its in a very cool old building with a lot of charm, great old barbers chairs and that old barber shop feel, but cooler. I left there feeling well groomed and smelling awesome. They only accept cash so stop at the atm before you go, but if you want an awesome haircut by someone who really knows how to cut hair...go.
