Paddison Builders was founded in 1979 by Richard M. Paddison, who grew up and was educated in New Orleans. Richard Paddison working for Beatrice Foods purchased three pieces of properties in the lower Garden District in New Orleans and set out to renovate them. After firing five contractors and after every mistake that could possibly have been made, a company was born. Richard began receiving calls from friends and architects. Three decades and over three hundred projects later, Paddison Builders and Associates continues in its tradition of performing superb quality and craftsmanship. In 1992 Richard Paddison moved to the French Quarter and has since taken a special interest in the restoration of historical buildings. He is intrigued by the notion of solving the unique problems that occur in dealing with these properties. In 1997 Paddison Builders decided to open its own millshop. Our millshop, Old World Millworks, is a long time fabricator of high quality custom windows, doors, cabinets, and mouldings. Quality products, superb workmanship, and excellent service are offered using only the finest of materials.
