The prices are great..full of locals working professionals...this is definitely not a underAge drinking college bar anymore:)
Everyone that works there is awesome and super friendly, all the bartenders are women, all of which are acctractive!
The prices are some of the best in town. It is connected to the restaurant GBs, you can order food from there..the burgers and baked potatoes are awesome

I went to Madigans for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I had a Rib-eye that was out of this world. I was served by a young guy who talked to me like he knew me for years, and I never had to ask him for a drink once, I just had to tell him to stop serving me!!
Overall I had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone; visiting or local.

The place reeks of cigarette smoke which makes it hard to breath. The bartender was some clown with curly hair that kept trying to get us to ""go out back and smoke with him."" The bartender who we couldnt seem to get rid of really made it uncomfortable. He though he was funny but wouldnt shut up and kept raving how he has the best job in the world. I think its pretty out of line for a bartender to as customers if they wanna go smoke out back, I dont care how shady the bar is. For a place that was suppose to be a good spot for locals to hang out I was displeased. I certainly will never go back and would advise others to stay away too.

Madigan's is not dingy like most college hangouts. It's a lot cleaner than most college bars. The crowd is mostly cliques. The drinks are reasonable priced and the music is good. It's not a place to dance, just to sit around and drink. Not too many beautiful people. You need a college backup to get in if you're 18.

Madigan's is by far my favorite bar in NOLA. The bartenders are friendly, and the people at the bar tend to be great-- yes, they're college students, but not the pain-in-the-ass stuffy ones-- we're kids looking to have a good time and relax. Definitely a neighborhood-bar type feel.
