Liberty Bell Cab

While riding my bike home on Decatur near Jax Brewery cab 1186 was parked on the right. He began to pull out while I was right next to his van. I rang my bell and started yelling at him to stop. I was barely able to get past him without having my back wheel crushed. He completely ignored me and continued to make a complete U turn from a parked position in traffic with cyclists and pedestrians. I called and was told that they would report it to their complaints department. However they didn't sound very convincing.

Zero! Tonight I took the cab ride from HELL! I was on the way home from work, the down town area, got the cab on Canal St. I told the driver my destination he was somewhat irritated, nevertheless we continued on. One block up we were all most sideswiped by another vehicle, he sped up rolled his window down and got in a confrontation with the passenger of the other vehicle. A few more blocks up he pass to men walking, he took a U-turn, turned off the meter and went back to pick them up, all while the radio was blasting. The driver was reckless the whole way and over charged a premium to the two men he picked up. I was over charged a premium and the meter was off the whole time.



I take cabs to work and back home every day, this was the first and last time I'll ever get in a Bell Cab. The driver was incompetent and should never have a passenger in the vehicle.

I would give zero stars if they allowed it. He picked me up at the train station. Music was BLARING. AS soon as we got onto the street I was convinced he was drunk as he sang along with the radio. Blew his horn at a young girl in shorts and when she gave him the go to hell look he waved at her! Total jerk. Then, literally stopped in traffic to find someone's phone number to call on his cell phone. TO top it off., he charged me $12 when the rate is supposed to be $10. WiIll never use again.
