Overall
Drinkers with Bad Attitudes?

There's a lot to like about d.b.a. -- the muted, dark wooden decor, the extensive beer and liquor selection and its prime Frenchmen Street real estate. But be careful when you go, because late weekend nights seem to bring out some of the city's rudest patrons. Navigating through the crowd at these times can be downright impossible unless you're a contortionist with a diminished sense of personal space. General late-afternoon and early-evening ""happy hour"" times are much easier, friendlier and more casual, the better to enjoy the exhausting array of spirits d.b.a. has to offer.
