The Beauty Lab Salon

I have been to this salon twice. The first experience was GREAT. My stylist was incredibly professional and attentive. I paid about $80 for highlights ($65 for the service and $15 for the tip). I walked out with radiant platinum highlights that lasted for several months.

When I returned yesterday to repeat the treatment... What a disappointment! First I called to re-schedule my appointment and the stylist had completely forgotten about it or had not even entered it into her calendar. Then when I arrived she disregarded my request for PLATINUM HIGHLIGHTS and began applying color DIRECTLY onto my roots. Because she had already started I let her finish applying color to the bottom layer of my hair and she used foil for the top half. After that I noticed the treatment was not the blueish color of bleach (My hair is dark enough that does not lighten with regular blonde dye, every stylist I have gone to in the past has picked up on this). When I asked her if this would leave my hair a platinum color she shrugged off the question.

When I saw the finished product my roots (top and bottom) were completely ORANGE!!! I was incredibly frustrated and the stylist refused to acknowledge her mistake. This woman completely wasted my time, ruined my hair, and refused to refund or correct her mistake.

My review is really just a reflection on the poor customer service of this salon. Anyone getting their hair done wants to be treated like a valued client and this is certainly not the case at this establishment.

Overall I am so disappointed with my last experience that I would advise anyone to really think before they go there. If something bad happens to your hair, do NOT expect the salon to take any responsibility.
