Overall
Bad Experience

I didn't have such a great experience during my first visit to Avenue Cafe. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich with avacado and swiss on wheat. The chicken salad was shredded chicken from a can, mixed with nothing, no mayonaise, no salad dressing. The avacados were so unripe that I thought I was biting into nuts in the bread, when in reality, the advacodso where hard as rocks. The sandwich tasted like cat food and I paid about $9 dollars for it. I got this meal to go and as I stepped out of the restaurant, I realized that in the 10 minutes that I waited for my sandwich to be made, my hair soaked up the smokey cigarette smell of the restaurant. I would not recommend this restuarant to anyone. I don't usually write reviews but i felt like I was ripped off and couldn't resist this time.
