Local store, local folks, WORLD CLASS service!!!!!

"Big Charlie" and his wife, Belinda have been the owners/operators of this business for many years and you will find them both on-site, hard at work daily. Their commitment to the city and the men and women in public safety is evident in their unsurpassed customer service!

They provide a full array of uniforms and equipment for many of the jurisdictions in the area surrounding New Orleans, and an impressive in-stock inventory available to try on in the store. Please wear your CLEAN socks when you are getting fitted for your footgear!

A.P.E. can order most any item you need for your duties, and are quite familiar with departmental regulations for what you can and can't wear so you won't run into trouble with the folks from Compliance when you're out on the street.

Your uniform patches are professionally sewn on by their amazingly talented seamstresses, (you might even get it done before you walk out of the store!) and any alterations are done on site.

When Hurricane Katrina's floodwaters engulfed the store, Charlie and Belinda were first on the scene to supply the public servants who lost all of their duty equipment along with everything else they owned. It was a war-like environment, dangerous and unforgiving. These folks really showed their mettle and compassion in those days; quickly tossed a pair of generator-powered trailers into the parking lot, and even invited bedraggled first responders into their own home so Belinda could sew on some patches or make a quick alteration.

Superior service provided by friendly and knowledgeable staff!
