Cab driver #0958 ripped us off. The meter was $7 & he charged each of 5 of us $7 bc he knew we were tourists leaving jazz fest. That's a theif & should be fired & arrested.

Surly cab driver just dropped off guests... he balked at taking credit card and overcharged them from the airport to the edge of the quarter. I'm very dissapointed in Alliance.

Took Alliance cab from Sheraton to the airport. When we got to the airport driver told me he wanted cash and not use the credit card machine. He then claimed the credit card machine wouldn't work. We had stopped at American Airlines (where I wanted to be at that point), when I insisted I wanted to try a CC he started driving again. I picked up the phone to call the police (he also had an expired cab licence) He stopped, let me pay by credit card and told me to walk back to the American Airlines checkin. I probably shouldn't have paid at all, but he was verbally abusive and seamed - well, stronger than me. The phone number of Alliance Cab on the receipt doesn't take messages when I called to complain.

Doesn't follow rules and driver stole my wallet!!!!!!!

On july 6 2014 myself and my party of six from convention center. He took us to iberville suites/courtyard marriot. Upon us entering we ask to make sure he used meter. He flat out refused. He first said 5 bucks a person but we started complaining this was unfair because it was not 2 hours before an event or two hours after. He did not sign log documenting where he picked us up or dropped us off. He finally said 3 bucks a person. We had no choice. When we exited taxi I got through doors of our hotel and realized I forgot my wallet in back seat. My his and and brother ran him down and starting asking where was my wallet. He said no wallet let. This driver watched each one of get out and held the door for us all. He would not open his glove compartment which tells me it was probably in there. Within 5 minutes the taxi said he had just dropped a party if 6 off at the dome!!!!!!! He was lying. No way he could have done that and my family was able to catch him down road. I'm disgusted. I called police and they said it was going to be assigned a detective. I plan to pursue this to the end. It is unfair to visitors that they can't depend on taxi drivers to be honest. Tourism rules New Orleans but we are not treated with respect or courtesy. All I wanted was my license out of my wallet so I could fly home. He could keep 500 bucks and brand new SONY experian purchased in march. I'm hurt and appalled this company is allowed to operate. When I called company I got voice mail. The next morning I finally got someone to pick up. I explained I wanted to make a complaint about cab #1523. He argued me then hung up! No class at all. I will contact taxi bureau until justice is afforded to me and this man is punished. He stole from wrong person this time.

ran me off the road!! alliance cab # 926, 6/22/2012, 6:22 am .approaching the airport express, not enough room between me and the car in front of me, this idiot swerves towards me and to avoid a crash i had to go on the shoulder. unbelievable!! he also had a fare in the cab which means he not only endangered my life but also his fare that i can assume was in new orleans for business/pleasure. this guy should lose his license to operate. already filed a complaint with no taxi bureau and called the local alliance cab number but have yet to hear from anyone. i will pursue this matter

Good Deed by Driver

I have been unable to contact the number given me by the driver .. but I wanted someone to know of this "Good Deed".

Monday (4.5.10) after visiting N.O. for the weekend (I participated in the Crescent City Classic 10K) my wife and I got an Alliance cab from the Sheraton to the airport. After we exited the cab my wife relaized she had left her purse in the cab ..

Oh Oh we have a problem now without ID and lost credit cards ..!

About an hour later the cab driver (Augustave Moise Cab # 1107) called on my wifes cell phone, ask for ID and when I could ID the phone, said he had the purse and would return it on the next trip to the airport ..!

He did just that .. ! And we came home to Houston ..

I have always liked visiting N.O. and have always found a reason to be glad I visited .. this time I had a very good reason that I wanted someone to know about ..

Give Augustave a Raise and a Promotion and Alliance a Good Citizen Metal ..!
