Catherina is all about her Ego. When I first met her, She did more boasting about what she's done in her career than being humble in any way. I have been to many psychic's over the years and really, really good ones. In my experience, the really, really good ones are humble, they don't need to boast. But to me, Catherina was smoke and mirrors. I wanted to have an authentic NOLA French quarter mystic experience while I was there, so I got her Bone reading and I feel I was taken for my money (over $100). She may have done some things in her life that make her seem real, but again, to me, it's smoke and mirrors. Only time will tell if her technique and predictions are accurate and I will come back in 6 months to add to this review as well. But in the meantime, when a psychic works In the Light, you will feel that and know the connection is there. I personally didn't know how to back out when I should have. I wasnt allowed to record it like most psychic's allow, which should have been my first red flag. She said because of frequencies. To me that's just an excuse to not be held accountable or reliable too your predictions. The ones that are good and believe in themselves honestly, "Frequencies" don't matter to your true ability. She didn't want me to look at the words around the bones, which I found odd. Second red flag. I was limited on being able to ask her questions, even though I was paying $100 for the bone reading. Third red flag. Overall, I gave her the respect of her profession, but I really wish I would have spent my money else where like at the Bottom of the Tea Cup or with Cari Roy, both are in the French Quarter. Again, I'm sure some people have had good experiences with Catherina, unfortunately, Im just not one of them. Time will tell though. If she's as right as she declared she would be, then I will amend my review and give credit where credit is due.

Will never go there again and if you do be careful to pay attention to each price tag. In my case the shirts on top of 4 or 5 stacks of shirts were marked $14.99 but when pulling the needed size (m) from shirts in the stack the price tag (unbeknown to me) were marked $26.99. Paid with debit card and when $26.99 price displayed on register I told the clerk that the shirts on top were marked $14.99. She said sometimes the clerks make mistake. I told her that was not my problem and did not want the shirt at $26.99. The clerk then points to a very small almost impossible to see piece of paper on the side of register "no refunds". Trust me it is not about the money it is about people doing ethical business practices. I personally believe the discrepancy in pricing was no a random error.
This is the cutest shop ever ! I purchased my daughter sunglases with the daisies around the lenses...and it was a birthday gift favorite ! Highly reccommend this boutique!!! Wonderful coustumes too !!! Cant wait for Halloween ! The owner is fabulous : )
This is the place where all tourist will go although, I am a New Orleanian and this place has awful service. The servers are rude they expect a large tip and will get very rude if they don't get one. They all have been working here for 40 years are more and they act like they do not understand English. I think the family that owns this place need to do some major firing and hire servers who will show our tourist more respect.
