Small but the service makes up for it. Food was great. Nice and cozy place. Let's u meet neighbors and socialize. A very nice looking man setting next to me and my grandkids secretly paid for our meal. He was very sweet and Lord I pray an extra prayer for that kind man. It was a long day for me and the waiter was so nice to the kids and I that it help calm me.
I always enjoyed eating there when I was younger but they are not wheel chair accessible so we can no longer eat there.
Catherina is all about her Ego. When I first met her, She did more boasting about what she's done in her career than being humble in any way. I have been to many psychic's over the years and really, really good ones. In my experience, the really, really good ones are humble, they don't need to boast. But to me, Catherina was smoke and mirrors. I wanted to have an authentic NOLA French quarter mystic experience while I was there, so I got her Bone reading and I feel I was taken for my money (over $100). She may have done some things in her life that make her seem real, but again, to me, it's smoke and mirrors. Only time will tell if her technique and predictions are accurate and I will come back in 6 months to add to this review as well. But in the meantime, when a psychic works In the Light, you will feel that and know the connection is there. I personally didn't know how to back out when I should have. I wasnt allowed to record it like most psychic's allow, which should have been my first red flag. She said because of frequencies. To me that's just an excuse to not be held accountable or reliable too your predictions. The ones that are good and believe in themselves honestly, "Frequencies" don't matter to your true ability. She didn't want me to look at the words around the bones, which I found odd. Second red flag. I was limited on being able to ask her questions, even though I was paying $100 for the bone reading. Third red flag. Overall, I gave her the respect of her profession, but I really wish I would have spent my money else where like at the Bottom of the Tea Cup or with Cari Roy, both are in the French Quarter. Again, I'm sure some people have had good experiences with Catherina, unfortunately, Im just not one of them. Time will tell though. If she's as right as she declared she would be, then I will amend my review and give credit where credit is due.
Food is great!, fried chicken is amazing! The Servicea was good. Atmosphere is classy in the middle of a busy french quarter it was a nice break from the heat and crowded streets
Love the place, get something new every time and have always been satisfied! Sweets and savories, YUM YUM! Quaint little building, so cute inside with a comfortable feel.
Very tasty food and very friendly, welcoming servers. Not being a fan of the usual breakfast fare I was able to order a grilled chicken salad for breakfast and iced tea. My 3 companions had the normal breakfast fare and all said it was very good.
Great bowling alley, The lanes need a bit more upkeep, but it is a great place to hang out and have a few drinks.
This is a nice little joint to relax and enjoy, watch a game or just talk with some Loco, ask the bar attendant were to go get nice Cajun food, she is awesome too.
Will never go there again and if you do be careful to pay attention to each price tag. In my case the shirts on top of 4 or 5 stacks of shirts were marked $14.99 but when pulling the needed size (m) from shirts in the stack the price tag (unbeknown to me) were marked $26.99. Paid with debit card and when $26.99 price displayed on register I told the clerk that the shirts on top were marked $14.99. She said sometimes the clerks make mistake. I told her that was not my problem and did not want the shirt at $26.99. The clerk then points to a very small almost impossible to see piece of paper on the side of register "no refunds". Trust me it is not about the money it is about people doing ethical business practices. I personally believe the discrepancy in pricing was no a random error.
They do not wash thier hands at all and sprinkle parsley on every dish from a container that every employee uses with bare hands.gross.extremely rude staff that will point and laugh at you while you eat.dont waste your money.
