***PLEASE READ before you give her money!!!****I normally would never post any kind of reviews but after careful considerations, I wanted to let others know what I went through with her. I really wish I would have been able to utilize the living social deal my best friend bought for me for Christmas. I booked in May for June 13th. The deal included 3 hours of studio time, hair, make up, ,and a little black book of photos. It would have been amazing to do! My friend gave me the information to book it along with the living social information. When I called the photographer stated that I had to pay a $50 studio fee, a fee for shipping my photos (totaling $80) before I could book a date (on top of my living social deal!!)So, I got my credit card and scheduled it. I wanted this so bad!!! After I got my date and time, I put in for a day of PTO from work (for the 13th) so I could prep and drive from Biloxi to NOLA to do this. I bought different pieces of new lingerie, new make up, new shoes, new hair extensions- the works to get ready for this session! I was super excited until about a week before June 13th. I texted the photographer to send me a "do's and dont's list" for the photo shoot she had mentioned in our initial phone call. I wanted to leave nothing to chance! After I text her, she called me and gave me a story of a sick parent. Ok, I get that, we reschedule for her to take a trip out to take her kids to see grandma. My new date was scheduled for the 27th of June. Got it. More time to prep. (A little disappointed not to do it when I originally planned and a wasted PTO day I cant get back later and then had to take another PTO day for the 27th.) Last week, I texted and emailed this photographer to get the studio address to plan my trip to NOLA. I get a email back asking to text or call her. She apparently sent out a mass text that I never got to all of her clients for the month of June needing to reschedule. I NEVER GOT ANYTHING OF THAT TYPE OF MESSAGE. She wanted to reschedule again for mid JULY or mid AUGUST. Now, Im out 2 PTO days, I am going into my busy time for work and I cant do that time frame. I really work 7 days a week during this time frame she wanted to reschedule me to. So my friend calls up Living Social to get a refund for the deal, I tell the photographer that doesn't work for me and then we find out she already tagged my deal as retrieved and Living Social stated that I shouldn't have had to pay the additional fees!!!! They finally credited my friend back her initial deal money but this photographer told me that she will NOT give me my money back. I can not believe that I was tricked out of $80 for this shoot and now Im out it, the cost of 2 PTO days, lingerie, hair extensions, and other things purchased for the shoot. I just wanted my money back because she has been unable to deliver her services in the time of which we agreed and I can not do it at a later date. There are extenuating circumstances for her, and I understand that, but seriously just give me my money back so I can add more money to it to hire another photographer for the shoot when I can have time to do it. Now she will only "credit me the $80 towards work with her." No offense but she can not do it now in the time I need it, Im not waiting till next summer to cash that $80 credit in. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!
Oh my gosh Eric! You’ve done it again! These images are all amazing and really capture this most amazing day in our lives! Thanks so much for this pe…
I had a great time. I was nervous but she made me feel real comfortable, best experience I've ever had.I got my pictures and my books back in a timely manner and we'll be giving it to my husband for an anniversary gift.
This place is horrible. The photographer had a great personality but horrible in professionalism! First off her studio is in her apartment, in a not not so nice looking neighborhood. She also took fooorever to edit and process my pictures. It has been over two months and I still have not gotten my pictures yet. The photos were subpar in manner but they sure did cost a lot. Next time I think I'll dish out the extra money and hire a real professional.
I can not say enough about how absolutely WONDERFUL Kelli is! First and foremost, our pictures are simply gorgeous...she has such a fantastic eye. Everyone who has seen them has wanted to know who our photographer was...and very hesitantly asked how much we spent on them, expecting the number to be astronomical. We now have hundreds of beautiful photos that we can look back on to remember our special day. The only draw back is trying to decide which ones to print...since I want all of them! Hey, there's another perk...unlike most photographers who consider YOUR wedding pictures to be THEIR property, she allows you full access and rights to them. Add in to this the absolutely astoundingly reasonable price, her friendly -- yet still professional -- attitude, and her willingness to go above and beyond, incorporating as many those ideas of what you want, no matter how half baked, and you have one of the most well rounded and talented photographers I have ever had the pleasure to work with...and I've worked with a number of them. She took our 1920's themed, last minute wedding and captured it perfectly, incorporating all of the traditional beauty and off-beat funkiness that we wanted. My husband and I agree..."Highest recommendation" does not even begin to cover it. Kelli is, without a doubt, a godsend!
Jamie and Heather are the best photographers I have ever met. They will capture your wedding day/engagement/elopment in a way you never knew was possible. They are friendly, afforadable and have a style that can only be described as some traditional shots mixed with fun more creative poses, angles and environments. We had our photos taken while "jumping the broom," on top of our hotel, walking down the street, in mardi gras masks, in the chapel, in the Carousel bar, etc. They are fun and so wonderful at their profession. Don't forget to ask about local plcaes to check out-they have plenty of advive on where to visit and what to eat while you are in NOLA! Let me say this...you WON'T be disappointed to have them as the photographers to capture the most important day of your lives!
