N. Rampart Store (also called the Orange Store - it’s a neighborhood secret.): ½ a block to the right of B&B, @ corner of Kerlerec St. Get ready for lots of food. The Vietnamese ladies start their day baking French Bread for their scrumptious poboy sandwiches. It’s a Workingman's place to grab lunch. Awesome fried shrimp po-boy, good fried chicken and Chinese dishes. All cooked to order, so you might call ahead to avoid long wait. Portions are HUGE, so don’t over order. You can always walk back for more! Take out only.
Rampart Food Store, fondly known as "the orange store," offers a wide variety of lunch specials for people on the go. Its convenient location makes it really easy to stop by and pick up a filling lunch on your way to wherever. The food is good and the prices are right. Call in advance to avoid lunch crowds and waiting.
They are nice and all......but when you ordering on the phone the women on the phone when you're trying to order your food they are very very rude. When you're trying to say thank you or anything nice that you hang up in your face I want to go one time curse them out.
"Best kept secret in New Orleans" this is true!!! Ordered the Rueben on Rye, with a greek salad and chocolate cheesecake. They deliver. Order often and tip the delivery guy well!!!
This store been here for years . I decided to go in the other day and i was shocked it was very clean and they had very fresh meat and very good prices and the staff was very kind.
The best thing I can say about this place is the character and work attitude of the people here are excellent. Great service, great store, what more can you ask for!
Called on phone for loaf sized poboy 10 minutes in advance, my poboy was ready and just as I ordered. This place isn't really a supermarket, it's a corner store.
Very good selection of meats with great pricing clean and doesn't have that blood oder with all the meat they be cutting .
Poor customer service and cashier never smile are say thank you are your welcome wasup with that but good selection
Locally Owned. Great Food and selection of Beer, Wine and Liquor. A must see in the Warehouse District of NOLA
