my granddaughter has been going here since she was 6 weeks old. in the beginning we had no complaints until she was moved into the one year old class. at that point she is always sick. she has been biting 3 times in a 3 month time frame. this week she was biting on her face along with 2 other kids getting bite by the same child on the same day. when we asked the owner about the policy on biting that they have posted for everyone to see her response was she has to post it for the state inspections but she does not inforce the policy. what is the reason for the policy if you are not going to practice it? the owner asked us what was in the policy because she was not aware there was one posted that it must had been put up by the other owner. if you are the owner shouldn't you know what the policy is? she will not give us the name of the bitter our the parents info saying it was private and that the parents are aware their child bites.

i wish i couldn't even give one star. this daycare is not a place i would every recommend. my daughter started at 7 weeks until she was about 7 month old when we were then packed up and told to leave. the owner is a money hungry control freak who was mad that i "asked too many questions" and did not dictate EVERYTHING to her. she fed a baby sitting on top of a table with no chair or support, she left my baby in a room to talk with parents, and NEVER communicated when there was a sick baby until AFTER my baby go sick and was out for days. they may be clean and nice...buts its all drama and back stabbing behind the scenes.

Positive Start is an excellent child care center. My child attended the facility since he was six weeks old. The staff is warm and friendly and offer personal attention to the students.

is there any way I can give this place a negative star? I dont have children my niece was there for less than a week before her mother had to take her out. These are the most rude and unprofessional women and they give a bad name to child care workers. The owners set a horrible example of how to behave and the employees follow suit. Im not even sure they even like children over there. I wouldnt send my child there ever!

I cannot recommend this Day Care highly enough! The staff is extraordinary! They are all very clean, kind and professional. They really take great pride in taking wonderful care of each child that attends. I brought my preemie to Phyllis after I had a last minute crisis when the lady who was supposed to watch my baby dropped the ball. They worked with me and let me get my little man into the daycare. I don't know what we would have done if we had not found them. My husband and I toured "tons" of daycare facilities. We did not find any as clean or professional as this one. Since our time there we have seen nothing but a friendly professional attitude towards parents and their children. Bottom line! This daycare is fabulous!!

I wanted to give 0 stars but YP made me click at least one. The ONLY good thing is they open at 6a for people who have to go to work early. The staff are not trained to take care of children properly. I did not like how they hold my baby without head support and her little legs just dangling. I was walking to the back to the infant room and heard one of the workers pronounce "sink" as "zank". Now I know a lot of New Orleans people say it this way but that is not how it should be taught in school. Children should have proper education and if they stray or their environment changes that then so be it. I only liked 2 of the women in the whole place but after I said I was taking my child out their attitudes changed. It was like I was shunned for taking my child out. People would stop talking and just look when I came in. My child would always be put in a swing in the corner because she was constantly crying because she didn't sleep on her back (I was paying for the camera so yes I would call to have her in better view). They would always shove a bottle in her mouth to keep her quiet (they didn't realize she was only crying because she was sleepy). I had a minor complaint and when I returned the next day it was as if the staff was mad that I called the "boss". They were very sarcastic in meeting my needs. The "boss" acted as if she was tired of me calling. At times the 1 yr olds or a little younger who were walking would be in the same room as the smaller infants. They would be climbing on swings that the babies were in. I understand they are just exploring but I was scared someone would tip over. They would be bouncing and the younger baby would just be crying because they are getting shook up. The 1 yr olds were everywhere and the staff couldn't control them. The changing table is right by one of the swings so when they would spray it for sanitizing the particles would get on the baby sitting in that swing. I'm sure there's other problems based on the other comments but I'm glad I am done with this awful place. I just hated it all together.

Nice staff, great daycare

I am a very picky mother. With that being said, I would not send my kids to any daycare. My kids are everything to me. My kids attend Kidz Courtyard and after reading these reviews, I must say I disagree with the negativity. My kids are well kept while in daycare. The staff shows love to my kids. They are clean, they teach them new things and most of all they make my kids feel love. My kids look forward to going to school and being with their friends. I think the daycare is strict but in the real world rules needs to be enforced so they will be followed. I even saw a comment saying they are money hungry but if parents don't pay their kids tuition on time how can the daycare pay their bills on time. If you come to drop your kids off and the lights are off that will be another complaint saying they are broke. My experience with Kidz Courtyard has been nice, if anything change I will be back on here to let you all know. I am a mother of 3 and I recommend Kidz Courtyard :)

There are so many reasons that I am sending my daughter to Rainbow- but the most relevant is the love and care that the staff give to every child. When each child walks in, they are greeted by all of the staff members.... The school and staff work to teach each child how to grow and be independent, thoughtful and caring people. My second favorite part of the school is how gentle and sweet the students are to each other (trained by the teachers). I am a huge fan of this school. The sisters who run the school grew up in the school- and each teacher treats the students like family. I could go on and on, but will leave it at that. THE BEST.
