Great Experience. The church is welcoming and the people are nice and inviting. Come and experience this uptown church, "The Place of Peace".
I would not recommend this church to anyone. I was looking for a church home and thought this was a place for me and my family. My fiance, 4 year daughter, and 15 year old son attended and we decided we would get married here. Talked to Felisha and was told it would be $350. Had several decisions so i went ahead and purchased invitations. That was what I though. After purchasing invitations and sending them to sister Felisha(which I should have never done) didnt didn't have a problem before i did. She decided to raise the price and tell me we were only using the church because we wanted to get married there. I had all intentions on still attending church after the wedding. I decided this wasn't the church for me. Explained that my soon to be husband works and that was the reason he couldn't attend every Sunday. I was given envelopes and was told he needs to send something in writing stating he's at work. WOW. As if I wasn't paying offerings. I was taken back when I was told she was taking 2 people to court already. Might be the church for others but not for me. I trashed my invitations and Will buy new ones. I do have a cousin who have his own church who is more then willing to offer his grace to us. God bless this entire church and please show them that not all people are bad people. We did have good intentions
