My name is Luke, and I'm addicted to the gym. Not just any gym though- St. Charles Avenue Athletic Club. St. Charles Avenue Athletic Club is such an incredible and comfortable place to work out. I've had several gym memberships over the years (and for nearly two years I've lived in a building with a gym on the bottom floor), but for the last 6.5 months I've worked out there 5-6 days a week every week. I have never in my life worked out as hard and/or consistently since joining this gym. I credit a lot of that to Mario's amazing trainers and the variety of classes offered at St. Charles Ave Athletic Club. The Edge Specialized Indoor training class is easily my favorite. The Edge room is huge and comfortable and air conditioned- and made for that kind of training. The class is designed to give you a full body workout. It's not easy- in fact, it's always hard, but that's how you know it’s working. That, and the results you WILL see if you participate consistently. I've worked out with all of the Edge instructors, and they're all excellent, but because of my schedule I mostly go to Kosta's classes (he's also a great personal trainer). His personality and sense of humor really go a long way when you're pushing yourself to get through one more set of snatches or get-ups. Plus, his awesome, high energy music playlist in another huge motivator that is definitely worth mentioning. I know those details might sound unimportant, but having someone who can push you while making sure you're having fun makes an enormous difference. Think about it- you’re a lot more likely to stick with a workout routine if it’s enjoyable and not miserable- and sticking with the routine consistently is what it’s all about! Join up, and see for yourself. Their terms are really laid back. You can even try an Edge class for free before deciding if you want to commit.

Member for 6 years. Never had a problem with my billing. Several of my friends, coworkers, and relatives have been members of the gym and never had a problem cancelling their memberships when they moved. The gym has A LOT to offer. Its the best deal in town for $49 per month (they have never increased to cost of membership in the 6 years I have been a member). They offer free parking, classes, towel service, lockers and month to month contracts with no penalty to cancel and no enrollment fees. I cancelled my membership when I left NOLA for grad school with no problems or fees and signed back up when I moved back(at the same price). My friend is a teacher and they gave her a discount rate of $39 per month. They do that for teachers, students, and im pretty sure for some other groups. She loves the variety of free classes and the ladies only workout area they have. Although I havnt done any of the classes I LOVE the free weight room they have downstairs. They have dumbbells that go up to about 160/165lbs. The staff is always very friendly and honest and they always smile when you come in. The gym is very clean and there is someone there to help you all the time. Ive even had the front desk people spot me a couple times. They have plenty of equipment for whatever your workout needs are. The layout, despite being 2 floors, gives plenty of room to workout. They have squat racks, benches, and space to deadlift. I strongly recommend the gym. Its the best deal in town by far, its very affordable at 49 dollars, very clean, friendly, honest, offer excellent classes, cardio equipment and it is located in a very safe part of town with convenient hours of operation.
I've been going 3-5 times a week as a member since June 2014, and from the first day it's been stellar. Enough space in the free weight room to not feel cramped, even with 3 or 4 other guys/girls lifting beside you; weight machines for any workout and ellipticals/treadmills/bikes. Bathrooms are beyond clean; showers provided, along with body wash, shampoo, towels, and lockers. Staff has been helpful, polite, and downright neighborly. There's a separate room for just females to get a workout in (never been, as a man, but I assume it's nice, too), and personal trainers or classes for any activity you'd like to sign up for. It's the best gym I've been to in this city.
The approach is awesome , yet fantastic These represent New Orleans well, I am their niece , past client and friend. He is to me my aunt's guide and God's Witness Accounts in flight Hollywood open account Past acts Religious acts Someone imitates with specific and non Terrorism harassed They stand out to several It was fun , Interesting and Great expectation is waiting Monitoring systems may be opportunity Possibly off line at times In communication with media and telecommunication They are always overtime , they other location was nicer and more convenient , it is blessed. Too long Ago , I would not suggest anyone here.
Dr. Archer is the best. I've been to several chirpractors before, some were good and some were not so good, but I can honestly say that Dr. Archer is one of the best. He is attentive, knowledgeable, and he listens. I went to see him because I was in an vehicle accident and was not feeling great but because of his attentiveness to detail (and he listens, can't stress that enough) I'm beginning to feel better. It's going to take awhile to get back to 100% but I believe between the two of us working together I'm definitely on the road to recovery. I definitely recommend Dr. Archer to anyone who needs the benefits of a chriopractor.
Dr. Rilette is wonderful. I have been receiving chiropractic therapy from him for about 2 months now and have never felt better. I had a serioius motor vehicle accident several years ago and never thought I would be without pain until now. It took about 6 sessions until I saw the drastic improvement and I have been essentially pain free since. Also, this is one doctor who values my time so he is always punctual and I am in and out of his office quickly although he will take his time and answer any questions without making me feel rushed. Thanks Dr. Rilette
Physiofit is a state-of-the-art facility, newly opened in New Orleans. The staff are friendly, providing personalized attention from the moment you walk through the doors until you meet your therapist. They have streamlined modalities to promote your ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability or they can also develop a fitness and wellness program to assist you in maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. If you have a need for Physical therapy or want to improve your lifestyle, I highly recommend Physiofit.
I have going to chiropractors for over 20 years and my experience at American Chiropractic Clinic as been the best. I have seen both of the doctors there over the last few years for various problems. Dr. Behar has excellant adjustment skills and my hip and neck are moving better than they have in years. Dr Hawn has worked on my knees and I have gone from limping in to walking out with no problem in just one visit. They really care and want to see you get better.
I started going to Dr. Rilette after a referral from one of my friends after telling her about some health issues I had been experiencing. It was the best advice I have gotten...Dr. Rilette has been so wonderful, I have seen a huge overall improvement! He is truly passionate about helping others and treating the cause of my pain rather than just getting rid of the symptoms. I learn so much from him and have never felt better!!! Thanks Dr Rilette!
Excellent massage experience! I can't recommend Jennifer enough. She is a truly talented therapist who has helped me work through a variety of sports related strains and difficulties with my back. She brings a deep knowledge of human physiology to her practice, as well as an understanding of traditional Chinese medicine that gives her sometimes surprising insights into the source of aches and pains. Highly recommended!
