Tokyo Japanese Steak House

I have been to Tokyo many times. I have also been to bojangles. First of all, if your going to eat sushi, you need to sit at the bar and meet the chef preparing your food. Its about the experience. Bojangles doesnt really offer that. Their bar is almost at the front door and doesnt seem to be really set up for guest.

So, I have a favorite chef. Chef Aaron. Trust him. Dont order from the menu. Tell him if you like sushimi, sushi, rolls, cooked, raw, sweet, spicey, etc. If you do this, you will enjoy your experience and also show the chef that you have enough respect for his expertise to let him choose what he feels is the best fish that day.

Also, soy sauce is to be used with sushimi (just raw fish). If you get sushi (rice and fish), dont dip the rice in soy. The rice is something that they put alot of work into making perfect. Dipping it in any sauce is the equivalent of asking for ketchup at a 5 star steakhouse. If you get rolls, dont use soy. It is going to come with a sauce if the chef intends on it having a sauce.

Sit to the left of the sushi bar. Traditionally, your most experience chefs will be on the left. I personally tell Chef Aaron, if available, that I like Sushimi, Sushi, and Rolls. I tell him I would like him to choose what he thinks would be best and I am never disappointed. I get creations that arent on the menu.
