Our Medical Imaging department has superlative, state-of-the-art equipment, including a 64-slice CT scanner to look for arterial blockages with a non-invasive procedure, a PACS system, where all images are digital (computerized) and can be accessed at your physician's office with a few keystrokes â€“ that means no more bulky film processing and handling. We have 3 x-ray rooms, plus one in the ER. Our techs also spend a great deal of time in surgery. We are leaders in Acadiana for having "digitalâ€ mammography to better detect breast cancer.
