Sears talks big but service is extremely poor. It has failed to fix problem of not getting enough cold water from the dispenser. They have sent 4 different technicians in last four months. They just come to show their faces without resolving the issue. Money spent on service agreement is a total loss to the customers. I would advise people not to go for the agreement.

Service technicians were excellent. I bought 5 kitchen appliances with the extended 5 year warranty for each (which is actually 4 years, since there is a factory warranty with each appliance). When I scheduled the free annual maintenance check that comes with the extended warranty, the technician called about 15 - 20 minutes before arrival, and was excellent. My complaint there was that each technician works on only certain appliances, rather than one who takes care of them all. So once the refrigerator - dishwasher tech was finished, I had to wait then for the microwave, wall oven, and stove top tech to come.
I was disappointed in the products I purchased. They were the Pro- Elite, and should have been of high quality, which based on my experience, were definitely not.
When told not to use the self-cleaning feature of the wall oven because the extreme heat will destroy the control circuits and melt the plastic parts of the oven rendering it unusable. The freezer draw on the ref-freezer is very difficult to open, and cannot be fixed. The back of the dishwasher came damaged, but it still worked. I did not notice it until the tech pointed it out.
I have several more complaints about my experience purchasing from Sears, but I think the above is adequate in relating my experience in purchasing products from Sears.

Horrible service company! Purchased a Sears Home Warranty with an air conditioning unit ... has not had functional air conditioning in the bedroom since July 16, 2016. They come to check out the unit, then order parts and return 2-3 weeks later to put in the part, and the unit stops the next day. Then they come back again, try another part, and guess what, it doesn't work again the next day. They blamed the electrical system so i incurred a charge to replace a fully functional circuit breaker that wasn't the problem. And now they come back to order another part without even checking the unit, and its almost 3 weeks before i can get another appointment to have it installed. Next time buy the product from a different store but if you must buy from Sears, buy a "Square Trade" warranty on line instead...I learned with kids phones and computers that
Square Trade warranty is much better. I also asked Sears to replace unit since latest tech said "it will never be right" they said no

My air conditioner is back to near perfect and it is over twenty years old. The technician was very knowledgeable and was able to fix the problem which turned out to be a bad capacitor.

I called for my refrigerator repair. Technician was great, I am really happy I called sears. Fixed my refrigerator the same day, am so glad I didn't have to purchase new ref.

horrible service. they did not honor their warranty on a brand new boiler that needed a new part and after they tell me call an electrician they don't even cover the bill for the electrician. they don't answer calls or emails and they weren't even willing to help. I will never buy another product from sears.
