I once had a slice of pizza @ A-1 Toyota and it was pretty good.Unfortunately, I tried to enter their restaurant and my motorizred wheelchair would have a hard time getting through the first door. Also the bathroom has an awful raised entrance.
11. Yorkside Pizza
good greek crust, the toppings are OK, service is good it is overall an average place to get a pie
Ordered a pizza on 10-27-2017 at 5:50PM. was told it would be 20 minutes. I was a little early. was told 10-15 minutes. paid for my pizza and waited until 6:45PM and no one came up to let me know what was up. I ended up just walked out ,even though I paid for my pizza. I called back and told them to throw it out and I will never go back there again. I know fri nite is busy and I would of waited of they just told me it would be longer than what they told me. they lost a customer of many years for life and will NEVER set foot in that place again!
I ordered 2 large pizzas and the person who was in charged of my order only charged me 1 large and the total was $16 then when I called back the person in charge gave a pathetic excuse "I didn't charge you for the other pizza. And if you want your other box you'll have to pay $12.93." Absolutely pathetic. Never ordering from this place ever.
Great concept serving up an even better pizza! One of the top pizza places in new haven for sure. Serving a product just as good, if not better than Pepe's, modern, Sally's, without the wait!
Terrible place ordered a wrap that in the ingredients list doesn't mention cheese like the other wraps do when delivered by Uber eats it had cheese called the restaurant and got the owner and he belittled my wife till she cried saying HIS MENU doesn't NEED to mention cheese however my wife is ALLERGIC to dairy and picked it due to no cheese on ingredient list he refused to do anything about it they are garbage and their food sucks stay away
I'm extremely fortunate to live close enough to the BEST Pizza Restaurant on Planet Earth! To say I, and my friends will keep returning, is very powerful. It takes a lot to impress us when it comes to food.
My mother in law loves this place, Food was great and customer service was very kind...I would so order again
I was wait over an hour after the previously told me that my pizza was on its way. After my pizza arrive it was cold and taste as if it was brought from the freezer section. After i called and demand my money back they offered me a free pizza and when i ask for the free pizza they kept giving telling me I have to call back to talk to the owner of the establishment. I called back and they were telling me the boss was not there. I did not receive good hospitality . I do not recommended Anyone order from this restaurant you will not be treated with respect.
The food there tastes so bad I could not even finish it. The order was wrong and the price was expensive even for a place that wasn't as bad as USA 1 pizza. If you have a weak stomach stay away. I will NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN.
I'm a resident of down town New Haven. Recently a pizzeria named Red Tomato opened up on chapel street. It's not your typical pizzeria though. Being a chef myself, I was hesitant in trying. As soon as I walked in the staff politely greeted me and took my order. My pizza was done within a few minutes of waiting. Not expecting a great quality pizza, but not bad! unexpectedly one of the staff came over to where I was waiting to hand me my order and also added garlic knots on the house. As I mentioned previously, by far one of the best customer service experience I've ever had!
