The Connecticut Center for a New Economy (CCNE) is dedicated to improving the economic and social well being of working families in Connecticut's urban centers. We organize, educate and develop leadership among community, labor, and faith organizations and neighborhoods in order to: •advocate for workers seeking the right to bargain collectively for better wages and a voice on the job •improve public education and training •expand access to health care and affordable housing •promote racial justice and immigrants’ rights and •protect the environment
