This past Saturday on 9/17/2011, I took my family out for would have been my Dad's 90th birthday. He passed away last year and I always said to him I would give him a 90th birthday party. Well I kept my promise. During that week I meet with Donna. I told her what I wanted, she asked me what his name was and I proceeded to say his birth name was Vito, but when he was young someone had called him Peter and people continued to call him Peter for the rest of his life. I also mentioned to Donna, he always smiled. She told me she was going to bring out a pastry they have there with a candle. I indicated his favorite pastry but they didn't have it, I said ok. Needless to say, I walked in to a beautiful table, with 3 balloons, one saying Happy Birthday Peter, one, Vito, and the other smiley. When our desert arrived she brought out his favorite, went across the street to the pastry shop to get it. She addressed everyone by there first name, appetizers were wonderful, entrees excellent but the best was Donna. She was wonderful, listened to me when I spoke to her, and the balloons, and the pastry for my Dad, made it extra special. I recommend Tony & Lucille's, and please try to get Donna as your waitstaff. Everyone is so nice there. You feel like your at home. My family and my Dad thank you Donna.

MOLTO BUONO !!!!!! FANTASTICO !!!!! This place is by far one of the best Italian restaurants in Connecticut ! If you want old world Italian cooking with a warm welcome go here, the food is like FINE WINE it gets better with age, and this restaurant has been doing what they do best for 50 plus years and thats serving great food. I dine out all the time and traveled to many places around the globe, believe me this place just brings me home to comfort food. LET ME LEAVE ALL OF THESE NEGATIVE COMMENTS A STATEMENT!!!! There are not many restaurants that you can eat at and go back to eat at after 20 years, well that tells you something about Tony and Lucille's, I brought my friend that I graduated college with at Yale back here to eat after 20 years and he was blown away that this place still was here after all these years and the food was great. Thanks for the memories !!!!
A touch of Amalfi. A family owned place that you can get anything made you want. The food is authentic and smacks of a trip to the Amalfi coast. I have eaten there multiple times and consider it a quiet diamond. The place is not very corwded and has it's own parking lot. This is especially helpful to me because my wife is wheelchair bound. The staff treats you like family. The home made rolls and breads are incredible. The olives and goodies at the sit down are a nice touch. The deserts; well, I nor my wife have been able to eat them because of the plentiful servings. I suggest you drop in and try the Ossa Bucco. The Calamari both fried and cold is tender and sweet. The pasta; what can I say, e primo!
Like the lyrics say, Meet you any time you want... At our Italian restaurant... My huisband and I got engaged here, my bridal shower was here and my baby shower was here. We love the food. Antonio - manager and host is like family now. The dishes are not your average Italian - they use really great ingredients and make really great food. Parties held here over the years have been enjoyed by all of our guests. Great deals on parties with AMAZING tiramisu and gorgonzola chicken. My favorite dish is the Lobster Trennete. Mouth watering just thinking of it. Located in Westville - near Woodbridge. TRY IT!
I attended a private dinner party on the upper level. The low lighting made it difficult to read the menus so we grouped the tealight candles together. However, the ambience was intimate and warm and the service was flawless. A bowl of Prince Edward mussels were excellent, with a delicious broth to "soup up" with crusty bread. All of the entrees, whether pasta, meat or fish, I had difficulty deciding what to order. The hazelnut gelato was "off the charts"! I will be coming here again to try more of the scrumptious dishes, including the homeade pasta.
Adriana's is our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent. The waiters are superb. The rooms are not what I would call "cozy" however, they are very clean and acceptable. The bar is outstanding. Adriana's is not your traditional "Itailan" restaurant with a menu of spaghetti and Meatball or lasgna, however the food is incredibly delicious! And the cook does special orders. We always pick this restaurant for our business meetings or family and friends. We Love, Love, Love Adriana's!!
This is the best pizza ever. We have been going here for 22 years. We have been everywhere and no one can compare to ERNIES. Very friendly and who cares if they only have paper plates its only pizza. We usually get it to go but its taste so much better right out of the oven when we do stay occasionally. We dont get pizza as much as we used to due to the economy but when we want to splurge its ERNIES for sure
This barbershop is amazing. It's good to see a young African American male doing something positive. When you walk into this shop you can feel the good atmosphere, the welcoming warmth. Its kid-friendly, clean, and ran like a business. Not just a barbershop. The owner also gets a plus because he always give back to the community. I reccommend everyone to try it out.
My favorite for atmosphere and food. The waiters acknowledge your presence immediately. I have many favorites at Brazi and have never had a bad experience. I have since moved away but always make sure I go to Brazi for a have a delicious meal when in CT.
I must admit i was a little skeptical about trying a new barber shop but i did and it was the niceest, cleanest, bigest not to mention kid friendly atmosphere I've had ever been in its definitely my new barbershop
