This is one of the top leading HVAC companies for the worst service every first let me tell you I signed up for the maintenance program it took them 3 days to get to my home in Smyrna DE then they had some staff member I forgot his name but let's call him joker he had everything bad to say about other companies so at the time it sounded good here is when it went down hill about 5 minutes in to testing he said my unit is no good and it would cost more to rebuild it vs a new unit do this is on a Friday so he said my manager will call you on Monday so they can go over the details ok I will wait on that one yeah right so I called ONE HOUR HAvC services so they came out on that Sunday so in behold with in 5 minutes again my air is working very well with no rebuild and no new unit just a good technician work with a good company and too top it off Burns & Mcbride sent me a bill For $90 and I refused to pay it so they sent it to collection after I called them and told them about them self
I signed up with B&M and after a little over a month I bleeping hate their service. I called to get a price on oil delivery, I talked to the salesperson and said I was paying 3.89/gal with Superior Plus; the salesperson quoted an average price around 3.49/gal depending on the market.and he said they're usually cheaper than the competition. Well, first oil fill, 3.49/gal, as stated. They just delivered for this month, and my bill was 3.89+ .10/gal charge because I don't have a credit card or linked account to pay on delivery. And the trash service is just Waste Industries contracted through Burns & McBride; and they're $5 more per quarter($90).
Their salespeople will say anything to make a sale, and customer service is rude.
Charged me $33/month for maintenance on my my heater. When it was time for the yearly service, they told me they no longer provided the service, even though they charged me the month before.
They will deliver oil any time they choose and charge your credit card when it best suits them. When oil prices were high, they filled my tank in the middle of summer when it was half full. When prices were low in the winter, they let the tank almost run dry. It may have been a coincidence, but it happened constantly over two years.
