I have known Patti for almost 20 years. She has looked after many of our dogs and they love visiting her beautiful kennel. When we drive up her drive, they are barking with happiness and can't wait to greet Patti. She has the loveliest setting one could ever find for boarding your dogs. We know our dogs will be well cared for when they visit her.

We have used Woodside Kennel for nearly twenty years. Patti has provided fantastic care for all of our Newfoundlands. Even though we've moved from the area, we continue to bring our dogs back to Woodside.
I have been here multiple times and every time I have been, it was a pleasant experience until my most recent visit. I dropped off my two dogs to be groomed on Christmas Eve, having made an appointment prior, and the owners acted very uninterested in my dogs. The woman at the counter did not make any conversation and was very short with me. I understand that they must have been busy, but I just felt so unwelcome. I dropped off my dogs at ten in the morning, and I did not get a call until 4:20 PM SIX HOURS LATER. In addition, the phone call went a bit like this.Me: Hello?Owner: Can you come get your dogs at 4:30?Me: Yes, that works.Owner: *hangs up*With no type of greeting or farewell or anything. I arrived at 4:30, and my dogs still were not ready. I was very taken aback by this experience. Every other time I have been to this groomer, the staff was very friendly and kind. I'm not sure if it was the holiday rush or new management, but I felt very unwelcome in this establishment and most likely will not return.

There are some pros and cons to this kennel. When I arrived they weren't very friendly or interested in my dog. I gave them the food and treats. When I picked her up, there was no mention anything about how she was or thank you for using our kennel. Our dog, collar, and leash smelled like urine and I immediately came home and gave her a full bath. Then when I was unpacking her bag, the whole bag of treats that I left for her we completely missing. She was only there for 3 days, that is a lot of treats being given. It was convenient off of ST RT 40 and reasonably priced, but I doubt I will use this kennel again.
