The same thing has happened to...

The same thing has happened to me. I brought my TV there a few days before new years and he charged me 40.00 dollars, to look at it plus 80.00 dollars for the part. He gave me the same paperwork as everyone else, and told me my TV would be ready by Tuesday. Well it's Tuesday, I called him and he told me the part has been ordered and when it comes in, he will fix it and call me when it is done. I feel very bad right about because I think I just got beat out of 120.00 dollars. Can someone please tell me what I can do to get my money and TV back. Any advice you can contact me by e-mail I am willing to file charges on this man and his business practices if need be.

This man is a major con artist...

This man is a major con artist! Do NOT take your tv to him...if you ever want to see it again that is! We took our 42" flat screen Vizio tv to him on December 28,2011 because it wouldn't turn on...he told my husband it was a $60.00 checkout fee and it would be deducted from the repair price if we hadvhim fix it. He also asked for cash...if we paid by credit card it would be more. He promised us an estimate by the following Friday...we waited two Fridays (since it was the holidays)...we called and were told that it was the power supply and it would be $300.00 to repair...BUT if we paid cash he could take $100.00 off. Against my better judgement my husband agreed to it and Frank was going to order the part that day and the tv would be ready the next Friday. Three Fridays in a row my husband stopped by to get the status. He was told that he had to order a part...another one because the first one didn't work...a new next Friday promise was made. Two more Fridays go by with no word from him at all. We went back up to the shop to tell him to forget it we just wanted our tv back....he convinced my husband to let him keep the tv because he was using it as a "learning experience"...and if he couldn't fix it he had a really nice flat screen he could sell us for $500.00. I was MAD by this time and told my husband to go get our tv! I asked my husband to give me the repair ticket he got the day he took the tv in so I could read it...I was shocked when I looked at it closely and saw a notary seal stamped on it! I asked my husband why he would have notarized a simple drop off estimate ticket? My husband said "he didn't notarize that when I was there"...he said "he has them all on a clipboard and he just handed me one and i signed it". I began reading the "fine" print and was in total disbelief of the things it said. It was like a legal document from a landlord rather than a pre-paid tv repair estimate. I sent my husband back to the shop and told him to ask for the tv and to see if the stack of pre-notarized repair tickets was still there. As predicted, he was given the same old story and assured it would be ready Friday....or he could pick it up. When he turned to leave he saw the clipboard of tickets and grabbed a blank one....surprise surprise....IT was notarized and BLANK! Well long story short......we stil have no tv and basically paid the man $60.00 to steal ours. It was most likely our tv he was trying to sell to the other victim that has written a review here! I would LOVE to join you in a picket session anytime! This man is a predator and needs to be in prison....where he will be safe from people like us that he obviously feels are idiots. Please post the next picket date and time and I will gladly join you!

Another Mad Woman!!!!

IF I GAVE THIS BUSINESS ANY RATING IT WOULD BE NEGATIVE, NEGATIVE, NEGATIVE. Over one month ago we got Frank, the Owner, to come to our home to check out our TV. We did not think his answer was correct for our TV's problem and hesitated about him taking it to repair. He said he had a TV in shop just like ours and same size but it was a flat screen. If we liked it he would sell it to us for $300.00 and the service call would be a partial payment. We went to his shop and agreed. He and his son brought a TV to our home (we don't check ser.#) and it would not even turn on. Said he would take it back to shop and bring back as soon as he checked it out. It has been over one month and we have no TV and he has our $300.00 cash money we paid him. I do have my paperwork from him and we will be in Court for our money. He says I can't SLANDER him or his business! You can't SLANDER anyone as long as you tell the truth. Ask him if I haven't picketed his place of business last week and will be doing so this week also. He called me a "CRAZY" woman. Not so, I'm a MAD WOMAN!!! Come by his shop Monday,March 11, about 9:15 and meet me. cloism
