The technician was very nice, but was either highly inexperienced, or they don't know the procedure for how to safely manicure nails. They did not soak my fingers before cutting away at my cuticles. My finger was bleeding so badly and the technician didn't understand that you need to apply pressure for a wound to stop bleeding. Finally I grabbed a piece of gauze and applied pressure myself. The next day: My cuticles are still a rough and ugly mess (and I had gotten a manicure two weeks ago, so they weren't that bad to begin with. They look worse now) and there is so much dried blood caked into the cuticle and under the nail of my right middle finger that it makes me nauseas to look at it.And they charged me full price, nearly $50, to leave me with ugly cuticles and a bloody finger. I am very unhappy with this business. They didn't even offer to discount the procedure. I was still bleeding even when I left the salon. Unprofessional and dangerous. I will now be watching my fingers for any sign of infection.
