Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort
HORRIBLE PLACE! I went to this waterpark with my friend and her two children (7&8) A girl and her group of friends (that i have never seen or met in my life) made a ridiculous accusation and understandably we were questioned. After the officer said he had no reason to believe the accusation was true. I began to question this girls age and the amount of alcohol they had consumed (they were making multiple trips to the bar). Because this would affect the waterpark they were rude and refused to investigate my concerns. They let us all go (by this time my friends two daughters were crying and confused) we said we weren't comfortable being in the same place as the young adults that made the accusations. Security said he would refund us the following day (I said I would not be returning as I had work the next day.) As security was making sure we got out okay we saw the same group of kids waiting around the corner obviously wanting to start something. When i pointed it out that these kids were harassing us he said "my job is just to make sure you get your stuff". The entire time i hadn't gotten any answers from anyone. I think it is ridiculous that a young adult can make such a serious accusation and not be questioned any further!! After walking us out of the park the head of security Matt Harper (who when i brought into question the kids age, alcohol consumption and my concerns responded with "why do you care?") came out and told us that I was asking too many questions and would not be refunded for the following day. I have called corporate MULTIPLE times and no call back. HORRIBLE PLACE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, HORRIBLE STAFF.
I have always had a fantastic time at Schlitterbahn New Braunville's,Texas. My kids were teen's when I took them now they are in thier 40's. Schlitterbahn is the best place for my kido's. This year is the first time we have ever stayed there. I hope it will be a fantastic time. I'm bringing my first Great Grandson (Kaden)

I have been going to this waterpark for 22 years, and it never gets old.
There are 3 sections to this park. Schlitterbahn West (Uses river water), Surfenburg, and Blastenhoff which uses city water.
Schlitterbahn west has a home made feeling. There are mainly tube rides and body slides in this area.
Surfenburg has the first well known boogie wave know as the boogie bahn, and the very first up and down roller coaster like water ride known as the dragons revenge.
Blastenhoff has the water ride behemoth known as the Master Blaster and the Torrent.
My cousins and I have been coming here for a long time, and every time we see each other, we always say..""MAN! I CANT WAIT FOR SCHLITTERBAHN!""

This place boast the best waterpark in the nation and it may be if you've never been to a clean water park. The green carpet lining every walkway may be nice for burning feet, but just a nasty infested waterlogged bacteria breeding ground for the rest of us. Aquarshoes are must. The waterpark looked old and was centered in a remote place on a hill. There was a lot of shade, which makes it cold for people keeping warm from being out of the water. The water was freezing in one section where the lake? feeds in. There are two sections where you must ride a crowded bus to get to the other, wait time of half and hour at least. This place was super crowded. Some people waited in line for hours for one ride. It doesn't compare to Schlitterbahn Galveston. The stream/river surrounding the park, isn't part of the park I believe.
The rides are great though. Lots and lots of rides. If you have to take a bus to two sections, than it's a mega park.
Good place to visit once if your an adventurer. For the rest looking to get some action in clean water, this isn't for you.
