Guadalupe Gas Company

I have been doing business with Guadalupe Gas Co. since 1998, in 2010 I called to let them know I was going to be renting my house out and I would have new renters. Well the renters called to let them know they needed to be serviced with propane for the winter in 2015. Ok, the renters were serviced and all was great. Well the renters moved out in November.1, 2015 . I rented my place out again in March.1, 2016 and did I mention the central heat is the only thing in the house that runs on propane so I didn't need propane for it until now, the new renters are inquiring of which provider I used back then. I called today and talked to Vickey in which I asked to be transferred to Linda(the supervisor) to find out if they still serviced out to my address, they asked for my name and if I remembered my acct#. So I gave them all the information they asked for, come to find out, they were still using my account # for the old renters and told my I had an outstanding balance of $119.50 that needed to be paid before I can receive service again!! I asked her how that could happen and her dumb answer was they go by the same account and address??? So I gave her a scenario, that if I was renting her house she would be liable for my expenses?? I then told her that anyone in their right mind would have created a new acct# with the same address and not my name,acct# and address. All she could say is , that's how we do business. And, yes she was very rude, so I told her, this is how you treat a long time that has always paid her bills to you on time?!! All she could say is that she is sorry, I told her, yes me too and will not ever use your services again!!

I had been a customer of Ferrell Gas for aprox 6-7yrs. I called Ferrell on 3/17/15 because I ran out of propane. I expected a delay in delivery until next week (which I was used to), but the woman on the phone told me it would be 10 working days. I explained my situation and was promptly told "Feel free to contact another gas company" not vary politely I will add. It was very clear that she did not care or need my business. I did find a company (Guadalupe Gas Company) that was extremely polite and helpful. Betty was a pleasure to work with, the driver was extremely polite and they were able to deliver my gas the same day. Betty explained that they normally can always deliver gas within 1-2 days of ordering if not the same day. I wish I would have found this company several years ago. Guadalupe Gas Co now has a new loyal customer.
