I rent with Cummins House to Home and Brandy always does a fantastic job. Our ac went out and they had someone out within two hours. They're always professional and are very understanding if something arises and I'm late on my rent.
My family and I needed a home to rent in NBISD, no other company could help us. Cummins House To Home, got us a home in the NBISD, and the home is perfect! Tom and Brandy are very professional, and very friendly. I love working with them soo much, we are buying a house with them when our lease is done ☺
Give us a call and we'll help you find a house to make your home! 830-743-2628 Brandy or 830-237-9987 Tom
This company is the worst property management company that there is. I have been a tenant for close to 3 years and never had any issues until I had a few issues with the property. All of a sudden Tom Cummins had an issue with me and has since tried to start eviction proceedings. The lack of professionalism and compassion is absurd. I had issues with my air conditioning and asked him to look into it. I had 2 separate companies look into the same issue and they both came to the conclusion that there was an issue with the insulation in the attic. When I looked into it further there was barely any insulation and what was there was saturated with rat feces and urine. When I brought this up to Mr Cummins he responded with "it is what it is". "if you don't like it you can go ahead and move". His wife came to my home when I was out of state dealing with health issues and put a notice on my door to pay the rent. I had a friend watching my home while I was out of state and she proceeded to tell him that she didn't care if I was having health issues or not. I needed to pay the rent or get out. She had no idea who this individual was nor was it her place to let anyone know that I was behind on my rent. I plan on exhausting every legal avenue available to ensure that they don't do this to anyone in the future. Until this happened I had recommended numerous people to them but now I would advise everyone to stay clear of this company. All negative reviews on their facebook page are removed almost immediately. They then posted on their facebook page that a tenant was giving them bad reviews and asked for as many people as they could get to give them positive ones. Now anyone that posts anything negative about them gets deleted and blocked from posting anything in the future. That to me is very unethical and very unprofessional.
We've been very pleased leasing from Cummins House to Home.Tom & Brandy have been more than willing to work with us when we were in one of those down times that life throws at you from time to time. Brandy has been "there for us" more than once (we've leased two homes using her Realtor Expertise). I expect that we will use their business acumen in the future.
I just wanted to let you guys know Brandy who works at Cummins House to Home did a great job for me, she helped me sell my house in no time and then she helped me find a rental I've known her for years she has always been professional and works for a great company.
This company believes in 2nd chances . They have been great to work with and very understanding. If you don't pay your rent , then yes I'm sure they will evict you .
The only good thing about this property management company is that they don't care much about credit score. The day we moved in the house was dirty. I complained to the management and he told me if i didn't like it i could get out!!! Are you kidding me! Talk about professional. Rats came with the house and fleas came with the rats. We have had to pay out of pocket to try and fix this issue...Issues with the house that we asked to be fixed take a lot of complaining before anything gets done and when they hire subcontractors they are a joke...The a/c guy left insulation ALL over my kids hallway..We complained again...and the owner of the property management company told us " we are welcome and encouraged to leave. Please get out" Most unprofessional bunch of asses i have had to deal with in a long time...DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!
Don't do it! Especially if you have kids or pets! They make you poison inside the house! Use a different company! We lived in a brand new house for a year and it was the worst experience of our lives! They will charge you for sooo many things so that they can keep all or most of your deposit. I cleaned the house to spotless. It looked even better than when we moved in. They still went in with a magnifying glass and found a crumb in the oven drawer, a spot in one cabinet, a crumb in a kitchen drawer. They even charged me for a wasp nest that must have been built within the few days after we turned in our keys. They charged us for trimming bushes that did not need trimming. The neighborhood had a lot of construction so everything got dusty really fast. They charged for hosing down the front door even though I had done it a week before. If you have a pet they will make you have a pesticide company come in and treat all the floors for fleas and ticks even if your pet does not have any issues. I refuse to live in a house that has been poisoned inside. You will also be required to have the carpets professionally cleaned (you cannot do it yourself!) Must show receipts to get a portion of your deposit back. Oh! I forgot to mention that I spent over $100 on flowers, mulch and top soil when I first moved in and even told them about it and they still did not take that into consideration. :(
