About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

The service manager at the New Braunfels location is beyond inept. service department is horrible. I bought a Mako pro skiff 17 and during the break-in period for the motor I couldn't get over 5 MPH while staying in the RPM range required. Called the dealership and found they had not set the tachometer correctly for the engine. I was able to change the setting and complete the break-in, but this showed they had never fired up the engine, or it would have been obvious.Next, while going across a bay on the third trip out the trolling motor started coming loose. I find out that it had only been installed with four very short screws instead of through-bolting it. Almost lost the $950.00 motor over the bow due to faulty installation. Of course the service manager at New Braunfels claimed it was a defective mounting plate. Nothing is ever his fault. The Ice chest pins both got loose and one fell overboard. This is all on the first week, by the way. While I realize this is a design defect, when I took the boat in to fix the trolling motor the service manager claimed that my moving the ice chest voided its warranty. I had put the ice chest up front, so I could install a leaning post. When I originally told him over the phone what I was going to do he stated that sounded great, and wanted me to send him pictures so they could put it on their facebook page and promote their boat. Now it voids the warranty according to him, which I doubt. When I bought the boat they did not know how much fluid was in the lower unit, and tried to sell me a gallon. I knew this was not accurate and they had to look it up to see that it was just over 1qt. This just shows the service manager knows NOTHING about boat motors. When I picked up my boat after 2 months I find that they did not unplug my power pole micro anchor and install the protective cap. The terminal had gotten water in it and now I’m out $40.00 for a replacement since it sat so long and corroded off. When I showed it to the service manager he stated I was responsible for not getting the boat ready to sit there for 2 months while they waited on parts. They sell these anchor systems and should be familiar with the storage procedures. When I leave a possession with someone I expect them to take care of it.
