I have used Fann's since it opened. I do not live in Needham and have come to realize it was worth fitting in a stop in Needham during my travels if I wanted my clothes to fit right. He will never let you do something if he thinks it would not come out right. His work is great, and you can be sure he will always guide you right.

My family has been going to Fann's tailor's for years. Even though, I now live in Philadelphia, I still bring home all my new pants for them to tailor because they are the best. I have had dress pants and jeans (skinny leg and flare) hemmed, shirt straps taken in, and even had a pair of jeans taken in all over when I lost some weight. My mom has also had capris taken in after losing weight. We have all been thrilled with everything we have tailored here. Mr. Fann is also good at helping you decide length for hemming and he is very honest about what is worth tailoring. (For instance, he recommended I get a pair of jeans taken in, but another time said a skirt wouldn't look good taken in). Also, when requested, they have been able to have my pants hemmed very quickly so that I can take them back to Philadelphia with me. Not only is Fann's tailors a fabulous tailoring store, but they are family operated and Mr. Fann remembers who I am after not seeing me for several months.

A coworker recently asked me where I take all my pants to get tailored and I told him about Fann's. I have lived in Needham for 21 years, so everything from my first suits to my newest jeans have been altered here. I have not had anything but jeans hemmed recently, so I will just rate him on that. They are all perfect. He charges $25 per pair, but you cannot tell they were hemmed. His ""invisible hem"" is absolutely flawless. The stitching is superb and is holding up quite nicely. I have trusted him with the last 3 pairs of True's that I purchased and will not trust any other tailor with my premium denim.
I decided to write this review simply because there are no other ones on the net, and this place deserves some recognition. If you want a cheap, 5 dollars-per-pant, done in 1 hour place, look elsewhere. Remember, you get what you pay for.
