i really like this place to eat the food is good i go there once a month with my family .. i like the pizza .
Horrible customer service, I use to love this place, great food and nice family owned restaurant. Ordered several times over the years. Our favorite was a calzone with salami. Ordered it tons of times. This time they delivered it and it had Ham chopped up in it NOT Salami. I called expecting them to make me a new calzone and deliver it, I even offered to give them the old one back to prove I am not trying to get a free calzone but they argued with me stating it is chopped up Salami. They kept putting me on hold, and finally refused to make right their mistake. Even when I can prove it to them by showing them the calzone, but no they would rather lose a customer. I can never go back there again, which is horrible because I do love the food, but it is not right to treat customers this way.
We ordered for a home delivery. 2 pizzas and small salad. The salad was as big as a small side salad with clumps of iceberg lettuce and 2 pieces of olive, pice tomato for $6.95. They forgot roasted peppers. They charged over 21 dollars for one pizza with sparsely dried chicken chunks, bland 1/2 spinach and 1/2 broccoli and runny ricotta. Forgot to add flavor or the garlic. I certainly would not mind paying theses prices if the product delivered taste and quality. The other pizza was also dry.. Hardly no sauce or toppings. Cardboard crust. When we called caller was defensive. So usually I would say maybe they were having off day but too many things wrong!
Our favorite pizza place, great food and great service. Free picture of beer with any size pizza enough said.
We have tried all of the local pizza delivery places in the area since moving to Naugatuck almost 4 years ago. We always go back to Vinny's. The pizza is good and the salads are loaded with fresh veggies, meats and cheeses. The drivers are nice and courteous.
Ordered chicken parmesan dinner ($14.95) with soup (pasta fugyou) and cavatelli ($2.00 extra) with a side order of sausage ($4.95). The chicken was 2 pieces about a 1/4 thick and was dry and hard and covered with greasy sauce and cheese that was burnt to the aluminum container it came in. The soup wasn't too bad except for the 1/2 inch of grease on top. The sausages were about 3 inches long and were mushy with no flavor, along with the sauce. I felt TOTALLY RIPPED OFF. I tried they're pizza before and learned my lesson, that's why I ordered a dinner. Never again...I threw out they're menu.
Terrible service rude owner and employee's just an all around bad experience. This place used to be a good place to order pizza or any Italian dish. The last few years its really gone down hill. The drivers are scruffy and dirty looking. The food is over cooked or cold. Not a good place to eat anymore!
do not order pizza from this place .the pizza sucks.i ordered a meat lovers pizza . when i opened the box the meat was all on one side of the pizza and the crust was all folded against the side of the box, also the ham wasn`t evenly distributed on the pizza (in a large pie i had two slices with ham). when i called they told me that they were going to make another one and it would take 45 minutes.well it took 1 1/2 hours to get it and when i opened the door to the delivery guy he pretty much shoved the pizza in my hand and walked away. when i tried to speak with him he just got in his car and left.
This is a great little home town restaurant. I went to it long ago in the 90's and went back this year after living out of town. Glad I did. My husband calls it a little hometown "hidden gem". Not your usual box chain restaurant
Great pizza, great food, quick delivery.
