This is a garbage cab company not only do they show up late they also rip customers off. I needed a cab to the airport they showed up 30 mins late. They over charged me by at least 10.00 Dollars. And the cab smelled like Cigerettes. Please if you need a cab call someone else.
We take our customers' concerns very seriously. If the driver is late for pick up, we almost always get a call from the customer. We try to remedy the situation immediately. If there is illegal activity like overcharging by driver, we would take punitive action against the driver. We would address your concerns when properly reported to us. After all, we are in service business. In this instance, we didn't have any customer reporting that his/her pick up for airport is 30 minutes left. Never called us or the regulatory authority about getting overcharged. Neither did we get a call about the car being smelley. Furthermore, the commentator didn't make any reference to the location, destination, the cab or the driver. Such an anonymous and vague comments deserves more questions than answers. As mush as we value our customers, we are also proud of our hard working independent cab operators. We would classify such a vague and anonymous comments as nothing but a prank.
I used this service from Eldersburg, MD to BWI Amtrak Station on 10/15/12. My departure location turned out to be out-of-range for cell phone contact that day, but the driver repeatedly tried to call me in advance and came to pick me up exactly on time. In addition, despite the fact that I had miscalculated the time of train departure by one hour, the driver drove carefully within the speed limit and reassured me repeatedly that we would arrive at our destination on time. He also arranged for my payment by credit card in a most efficient manner.
I am grateful for his professionalism and dignity throughout, and I will make use of this service again in the future.
Called this place to simply find out if they covered eastern PG county. (Yeah, their website says "Anne Arundel and beyond", and Eastern PG is adjacent to Anne Arundel, so it was a valid question.) The guy who answered the phone spoke very quickly and couldn't enunciate worth a damn, so he was very difficult to understand... I had to ask him to repeat himself, and I could tell that he was immediately bothered or offended, and ultimately, rude. He didn't disguise that or apologize for it at all... That is a crappy trait for a customer-service business, and so, regardless of what areas they serve, they aren't getting my business.
Let me start off by saying in the time I was waiting (unnecessarily) for my cab, I was able to not only create an account, but also write this review. I called in advance for a scheduled pick-up. When the driver was five minutes late, I called to see if he was on his way. The dispatcher told me "that driver just started his shift. Let me call him and I'll get back to you. CLICK." Five minutes later, still no response. I call back. "sir, what's the address? We don't have that address on the roster. But I can have another driver out to you in fifteen minutes." How can you sit there and tell me it's not scheduled when you just told me five minutes ago that the driver scheduled to pick me up just started his shift?? Unbelievable. Never again. Let's hope I make my flight.
I needed a taxi to pick me up at 4:30AM to go to Johns Hopkins for surgery. I called the day before to make arrangements. The dispatcher assured me they would be there at 4:30AM. The cab driver even called that evening to make sure of the address and time. I told him I needed to get to the hospital for surgery and the pickup time was critical. I also told him I would drive myself if he did not show up.
Driver was not there at 4:30. I tried to call the dispatcher at 4:35AM, but no answer, not even voicemail. Waited until 4:45AM then drove myself. Driver finally called (my cell phone) at 4:55AM to say he was outside my house waiting for me. Told him he was too late and I was already driving myself to Johns Hopkins. Had to arrange for a friend to get my car in Baltimore after surgery since I was unable to drive it home following surgery.
My experience is that this company is not reliable.
I didn't have good experience with the taxi service recommended by my hotel. The cabbies are always looking for ways to overcharge. I travel to this area too frequently. I found it smarter to call Yes Taxi. Although they are not the fastest dispatcher around but I always found them arriving pretty much as promised. I didn't find any of the drivers choosing a funny route to empty my wallet.
One of the rare events where you recover your lost item. My ride was from Severna Park. Only after the cab left did I realize that I left my important stuff in the car. I immediately called the company. The dispatcher was co-operative and quick to locate the driver. I heard from the driver before the 5th minute! This is kind of service you really appreciate and don't forget.
