Eligibility Guidelines - Auto Insurance -Wawanesa's Automobile insurance program is designed to insure careful responsible drivers whose historical driving records meet the "Good Driver" definition.To qualify for a premium quotation, a driver cannot have more than one traffic violation point or more than one at fault accident point during the last 36 months. Most traffic convictions involving the operation of a motor vehicle are counted as one point. A driver is considered principally at-fault for a motor vehicle accident where the driver's acts or omissions are at least 51% of the proximate cause of the accident or the accident is a solo vehicle accident. Any principally at-fault accident involving bodily injury with total damages exceeding $1000, or death, will count as two points. Any principally at-fault accident involving only property damage with total damages exceeding $1000 will count as one point. Homeowners Insurance/Home Insurance-The dwelling to be insured must be owner occupied and must be the insured's primary residence. Dwelling condition, loss history, and proximity to brushfire hazard are underwriting considerations that may affect eligibility. Condominium Insurance/ Condo Insurance - The dwelling to be insured must be owner occupied and must be the insured's primary residence.
