I hired the Vista Valley Tree service to come and trim 2 palm trees and remove and stump grind all the trees along side the road to make was for a new fence. They did an ok job on the Palms but ran over quite a few of my flowers trying to navigate their large truck into place. Removal of trees went smoothly, but stump grinding was rushed and not completed properly. First they missed and entire stump. This stump was buried by the sawdust from the other ground stumps and several of the stumps were not ground down 16" below grade as the foreman told me would be done. these were left just below the ground. once I cleared the sawdust away there were several large rootballs just below the surface. I have contacted the company 6-7 times over the last few weeks without any response. I have left 3 voicemails and talked with the receptionist who promised a call back only for no further response. As a result I had to rent my own stump grinder and finish the job to move forward with my projects.
ALL IN ALL... They will not come back and appears they do the bear minimum. They do decent work, but make sure to inspect all of their work before they leave and have every tree listed specifically on the quote.
Be extremely specific about what trees are on the quote. A tree that I specifically asked to removal on the initial quote was not removed until I asked about it after the fact. They charged me more than 10% of the original quote to remove the one tree and that did not include stump grinding. The quote was generic "Remove XXX trees and stump"

I had my palm trees cleaned up recently. The trees were in a messy state. The crew from Vista Valley provided me with a very reasonable estimate soon after I sent in a request. The job was completed in a timely manner. I was impressed at how well the job was completed and that the crew cleaned up thoroughly after completing the job. I would hire them again!
